St. Bonaventure Athletic Department Announces NBA Draft Plans Nicholson NBA Draft Packet
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – With the NBA Draft set for Thursday night in Newark, N.J., the St. Bonaventure Department of Athletics has announced its plans as former SBU standout Andrew Nicholson is projected to be a First-Round pick.

Ticket Information Tickets to the NBA Draft are still available through Ticketmaster by clicking here. If possible, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in either Section 20 or 21.
Pre-Draft Gathering 5-7 PM Brick City Bar and Grill Newark, N.J.
Open to all Bonaventure alumni and fans, this informal social will lead into the NBA Draft at the Prudential Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the coach of the 2012 Atlantic 10 champions, Mark Schmidt, ESPN.com's National Coach of the Year, Jim Crowley, and Athletics Director Steve Watson. There is no cost to attend and registration is not required.
Local Watch Spots Those looking to watch the NBA Draft in the local Allegany/Olean area are encouraged to visit one of St. Bonaventure's corporate sponsors: Randy's Up The River, Fat Heads, Applebee's, Beef 'n' Barrel, Angees(the owner will be available via text from Pittsburgh) or Bartlett Country Club.
Internet Coverage Nicholson will not be at the Draft, but GoBonnies.com will have comprehensive coverage from both inside Nicholson's private Toronto gathering and the NBA Draft at the Prudential Center.
Beginning at 6:45 p.m., a special pre-show live from Nicholson's gathering with host Shannon Shepherd will air on UStream by clicking here. Shepherd will interview Nicholson, in addition to other former teammates and coaches expected to be in attendance. The show will be archived and available to watch following the Draft. Fans wishing to ask questions in advance may be submit them using the @Go_Bonnies Twitter handle.

Nicholson In Brief Nicholson stormed through the final month of the 2012 regular season to garner Atlantic 10 Player of the Year honors. He powered St. Bonaventure to its first A-10 Championship title – earning a nod for Most Outstanding Player along the way – after posting 26 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks in a title-game win over Xavier that sent SBU to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000.
Nicholson ended one of the all-time great careers in Bona basketball ranked second in program history in points (2,103), field-goal percentage (57.5) and blocked shots (244), while sitting fourth in total rebounds (887) in 123 games and 75 straight starts to end his career. He ranks as the only player in the history of the Atlantic 10 Conference to earn four consecutive Player of the Week awards, averaging 25.3 points and 11.5 rebounds over the final eight league games of the season.

Givony þ@DraftExpress I'm told that as many as nine 1st round prospects have medical red-flags that could impact their standing. Could be a rough night for some.
