The thing that everybody has to be aware of is the changing demographics of high school kids. There just aren’t as many kids in our schools as we’ve had in the past. That means there is going to be a shrinking pool of players and the law of supply and demand will probably make it harder to get the quality recruits. When all the big time schools are chasing more of those players then whatever is left over will funnel down to the mid-majors and so forth. Changing times my friends. You’ll be seeing the same with enrollment numbers too.

I don't agree, not really sure how you think that there are less kids now than ever before? There are more kids/players than ever, but there are also more options now and the level of competition is ever increasing.
A few factors for the struggle of a MM like Bonas to get players. 1. A we know so well, many kids would prefer to go prep rather than go to an average MM. This has been made much easier by all of the money being funnelled into Prep/AAU organizations that allow kids to prep for free.
2. Just a few years ago the NCAA promoised major changes that would hit Prep schools, reclasssifying, academic issues, etc. and it has only gotten worse.
3. With the elavation to 500,000+ coaching contracts at MM and the increase in money out there, there has been a major increase in MM people who bend the rules to get players.

His name rhymes with Darius Stevens... Wait, no that is his name.

I'm bewitched and bewildered over this signing. I thought Darren used up all his eligibility in 1962.
