Amen, Frank.
Back to the subject of the post, if you didn't well up a little, well, then there is something wrong. What a long, hard road. So much emotional blood, sweat and tears with the program. So many witnessed road losses.
Work kept me from AC on Friday and a family obligation did on Saturday. Fortunately, I made it into Boardwalk Hall with my daughter ('07 and a four year cheerleader during the worst four year home record stretch in program history) only moments before tip. We moved down from our assigned seats after the first media time out to the end zone corner where she recognized some of her contemporaries. We stood the whole game. Some 80s era alums were behind us. The place was loud!
When X conceded and we were dribbling out the finals seconds, I turned to high five and hug her and she had both streams going full blast. I may have seen her happier, but I couldn't tell you when.
The long drought was worth it.
Beat the 'Noles!!

Even my dog cried ... the same dog I've kicked so many times over the years following tough losses.

This is the year to show the naysayers that last year was NOT a fluke! |

My dog couldn't stay in the room with me during that game. I think I scared the hell out of him.
