He transferred from Ball State where he started the last 8 of 9 games & was named to the All-Conference Frosh Team. At Ball State he had 6.5 ppg, in 22.5 mpg with 2.9 APG. Amazing that as a frosh he had team high assists & A/TO ratio. Left Ball State when there was a coaching change. Marcus is a high character kid with 2 younger brothers playing football. All State Illi, he has a solid frame & scores mostly from deep. He turns 20 the day after his Bona visit. An Early Happy Birthday to Marcus!

Lets lock this kid up - word is as expected he shot the lights out from long range on his visit
To be expected in that he led the juco natl champs in 3pt shots and did so at a 38% clip
The fact that he led Ball St in turnover/assist ratio indicates a true combo guard

We have offered 6'1 PG Kedric Flomo from North Forsythe hs in winstom/salem area of North Carolina. He avg 28ppg Rhode Island, Duquesne, Mercer, Alabama st among others
He signed with Appalachian State last November, but when Appalachian fired Coach Jeff Capel last month, Flomo requested a release from his letter of intent. Jim Fox, Appalachian’s new coach, agreed to that release Friday, Vestal said.
Vestal said that once Flomo’s request for a release was made public, he started to hear from other Division I programs, including some that had recruited Flomo before he signed with Appalachian and some that didn’t.
One of those schools that initially offered a scholarship was Mercer, and Flomo said he was very impressed watching Mercer beat Duke in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
“I want to go to a school that plays up-tempo, plays defense and shoots 3’s,” Flomo said.
He did all three at North, which has had more Spencer Award winners than any other school.
Flomo, who outscored them all, was asked if he was the best player in program history, and a wide smile crept over his face.
“I would say yeah, probably so,” he said. “I at least made a good run at it.”

Hmmmm...a 4yr PG and Zuppardo? Kid reminds me of Adam Morrison from a few years ago...range AND an inside game...could possibly present matchup problems...good footwork too...
