Andrew and his support team know what's best for his career I'm sure, but personally I'm hoping he was being showcased.

He probably touched the ball on the offensive end 15 times total, so he was incredibly efficient. I hope they see that although, again, I hold little hope that they see him as an integral part of the team but more as as adjunct support player. Too bad and I hope I am wrong.

Watched a taped replay of Orlando vs. Houston in Texas. On offense , AN was secluded in the coffin corner, never moved, never got involved in the offensive flow, and never touched the ball on 12 consecutive possessions. On defense, they had him guarding the Houston play-maker and 2G at the top of the key.
I never witnessed anything so stupid, proving the incompetence of the Magic H.C. Further, Arafolo and Nelson never looked for him during the offensive possessions. I agree with whoever said he needs to get away from this mess!

Nicholson is looking great tonight in Orlando's opener in Indiana. 8-9 from the field, including 2-2 from three, for 18 points with just under 5 minutes to go in the second quarter.

It's absolutely mind blowing that he just sat the entire 3rd quarter for the worthless maxiel and o'quinn... seriously what other coach in the league would not play a guy, who just put up 18 pts in 13 min, at all in the 3rd?! I mean how can you possibly explain that? 18 pts in 12 min off the bench. 0 min in the 3rd.

If they don't trade AN, at least trade Jameer Nelson. He had Nicholson open countless time when AN FINALLY got in the 2nd half and never looked at him. I was not going to sign up for NBA Broadband after watching #44 get bounced around by his "coach" last season, but I did and tonight I am regretting spending the $120 or so greenbacks after only ONE game !!!!! J. Vaughn I just don't get it.

Here's the problem I have with Vaughn's philosophy. You've got a guy who's stroking it, and your team isn't known for offensive prowess. The Pacers are one of the best defensive teams in the East, and points against them come at a premium. You have to take points however they come and adjust your defense accordingly.
If I'm the Pacers' coach, I'm thinking Vaughn gave me the game. All I had to do was sit Scola, and Vaughn takes out his only efficient offensive threat and neutralizes him for the evening. I don't even have to worry about altering my defensive strategy to account for him.

18 points in 19 minutes.
See, Andrew is not with the Orlando program. The idea is to tank again, get back in the lottery, go from there. You can't have a player going off and being awesome like that.

Andrew is still developing his NBA game, but either A. Vaughn is clueless or *overthinking. (*see 'clueless'.) or B. They really are willing to stifle the developement of a talented young player like Andrew for a shot at Wiggins.
