He will always be able to score. He will never be a star if he doesn't improve his D and rebounding. Its fun watching him abuse people in the post, but he creates mismatches for his teammates and has to fix the other parts of his game to be a standout.

He has to stay out of foul trouble. In those same 18 min he had 5 fouls. If you want to stay on the floor you cant foul at that magnitude. Otherwise, its clear he is improving his offensive game.

But here is the rub - Kevin Love got Vucevic to give up 5 fouls too along with others - he is the consummate fake and shoot guy, and great to boot. But really, the game is tied, its overtime and AN sits the bench. He is one of your most consistent scorers. Vaughn is all feel and no tactics. He kept the same team in the game most the fourth quarter and all the overtime. No rotating guys in and out, they were exhausted. No game plan just go with the ones that brung ya. Poor coaching.

Two things from the photo above. It's clear that Andrew has added upper body strength from seeing his shoulders. And........look at those HANDS!!!

Nicholson, 17 pts , 10 rebounds with 3 minutes to go. Up by 20 over the Nets. He may not impress his coach, but the Magic announcers certainly are heaping on the accolades.

Andrew seems to be getting more playing time since the reporters started asking why he wasn't on the floor more. After 4 games, his stats tell the story of an improving player vs. last year. You can't keep good performance a secret. Everyone sees the stats. Cream gonna rise to the top!

Old man's game? Well, an old-man's game served Tim Duncan pretty well.

I saw the Hawks vs Orlando game in person. I hate to say it but hold little hope Andrew can be a started in the league but should be a good reserve for years. He appears to have a center's speed & game in a forward's body. He has to give space to forwards as gets beat by dribble drive regularly. He has improved his rebounding, trys to do the little things to help the team and can still post up & shoot.

Did he get hurt tonight or something? Only played 3 minutes... always efficient though with a bucket and a rebound.

Okay. Love my Bonnies, but admittedly not the most knowledgable basketball or NBA guy. Interested in opinions/discussion:
Andrew Nicholson for Iman Shumpert straight up ?
Andrew is averaging @ 20 mins., 11 pts., and 6 rbds. per. Shumpert is averaging 30 mins. (well, at least he was before J.R. came back) 8 pts, 5 rbds., 3 assts and 1.5 steals.
The Knicks need help at the 4-5, with the injury to Chandler, Amare looking like his career is quickly winding down, Kenyon Martin being limited, and Cole Aldrich being, well, Cole Aldrich. With Bargnani and Melo upfront, the Knicks could use a monster defender and rebounder, but good luck finding one of those. Obviously Andrew can score, but I also think he's becoming an adequate rebounder. His defense is not stellar yet, but he's got alot of company in that regard in the NBA. With Chandler out and Bargnani at center, Andrew should see alot of minutes at the 4.
Emotions aside (I know alot of us would like to see Andrew on the Knicks) do you make this trade if you are the Knicks ? If you are Orlando ?

Nice night for AN against Phoenix. 19 pts, 8 rbs, 6-6 from the stripe, 3-4 from 3pt land, 25:47 minutes. Most importantly: Magic +1 with him on the floor.

44 made good use of his 25 minutes vs Atlanta: 18 points, 8 rebounds, 1 block.
