Between Posley and Mobley we certainly will have some scoring punch, and the best point guard in the league in Adams running the show. This is a wonderful pick up in Matt Mobley. Now lets get a center who is a shot blocker and rebounder like Ndoye. Things are looking good for the Brown and White. Not sure if you mean they will be playing together but Mobley has to sit out a year as a transfer. He will take over for Posley in 2016. Either way, quality scorer and you always need as many of those as you can find.

Interesting how timing works. During AN days, we wished for a great point guard and a consistent shooting guard (Matt W was solid in his senior year, but spotty before that). Now we have a great PG, a streaky but good shooting guard, a potential very good frosh PG coming in, and Mobley coming in for next year. Can you imagine the run we could have had in the NCAAs if we could have put this backcourt together with AN?

LaDarien Griffin 6'7" SF **SIGNED** Nelson Kaputo 6'0" PG **COMMITTED FOR 2015 or 2016** Matt Mobley 6'1" SG (Transfer) **COMMITTED** Courtney Stockard 6'5" SG (JUCO) **SIGNED** Derrick Woods 6'9" PF **SIGNED** (thank you SER)
Assuming all this happens, Schmidt still has 2 open scholarships to fill?

Has Schmidt ever had a recruiting class with this much upside and more importantly with proven talent? -- Stockard was an All City choice from St. Louis. Courtney did not receive any D-1 offers, because he was undersized at 6'3" and 165 pounds. He grows to 6'5" and gains 20 pounds of muscle and becomes the 4th leading scorer in the nation for JUCOs. -- Mobley receives one D-1 scholarship offer. As a sophomore becomes the 3rd leading scorer in the conference and has a visit to a Power 5 Conference team. -- Woods as a junior in high school was described by his high school coach "at 6-foot-7, he hardly knew how to maintain control of his lanky frame." He grows another inch and gains 20 pounds and his coach says "much more physical and all of that; he’s progressed across the board. Rebounding-wise, he’s become much more of a concern for everybody. Scoring-wise, he was able to finish plays because of his weight gain, that added strength.” Derrick then becomes a 2nd Team All State selection for class 4A the largest class in Pennsylvania (link to new OTH article at bottom). -- Kaputo is overlooked until leading his high school team to an undefeated season and score 36 points in championship game for class 4A. Northpole calls Nelson "“arguably the best pure point guard in the nation for the Class of 2016.” -- Griffin does not have the impressive press clippings of the above, but he was an important part on one of the best teams in the nation. LaDarien also happens to be the best athlete out of the group. Considering the already proven talent, this recruiting class has to be an A. It will become an A+ if Schmidt can add a quality big man. www.oleantimesherald.com/sports/article_787dc8be-fd7b-11e4-95c2-afcf7a5419a6.htmlwww.oleantimesherald.com/sports/article_13a0413e-f339-11e4-bb6b-1b6e71cb2bc9.html

Hopefully, we have a big man on board. The school is always very careful before making official announcements so maybe we will still get some news. And of course there's always the possibility someone could sign a non-binding grant in aid (I think that's right) during the summer. Even withou a big, if everyone listed above qualifies, and Kaputo successfully recallifies to 2015, I agree, this is a heck of a haul. I know none of it means anything until they step on the court and we find out what they really can do, but I'm curious to see where the 'experts' and some of the posters here and on the A10 board think our recruiting class ranks against the rest of the A10.

Heard that Derrick Woods qualifying will be close, but he SHOULD make it. Let's all say a special prayer for Derrick as he could be a very key get for the Bonnies. We are depending on you big guy!!

Very instinctive big who seems to have huge upside! Would be the athletic big we need to finish off this talented class. Have a great visit big guy. By the way, there is a recent history here at Bona's of developing bigs that are NBA worthy.

Very instinctive big who seems to have huge upside! Would be the athletic big we need to finish off this talented class. Have a great visit big guy. By the way, there is a recent history here at Bona's of developing bigs that are NBA worthy. With Joshua Lewis just graduating from high school and there is just 1 scholarship left, it appears JP Kambola will not becoming for this upcoming season. Joshua has good stats with 9.4 ppg and impressive 11.5 rpg in comparison Jordan Tyson's had 12.4 ppg and 6.2 rpg in prep school. Joshua is an athletic big and like BJIF says from the video appears to have a "huge upside" as for defense, particularly with blocking shots. I wonder why he is still available. Joshua would certainly add another exciting big man with a lot of potential. Hopefully he has a great visit. www.ncsasports.org/mens-basketball-recruiting/fl/MIRAMAR/miramar-high-school1/joshua-lewis29www.maxpreps.com/athlete/joshua-lewis/mTKUDPTpEeKZ5AAmVebBJg/gendersport/basketball-stats.htm
