Just not in the cards that the Bonnies ever win one of these recruiting wars. Don't really understand this decision, as the kid was unhappy playing at Finley Prep, and so much for wanting to be close to home. Anyway, good luck out there competing with that roster of guards and know we wish you and your family well.

Comments from his dad right after, or during, the visit to UNLV made it sound like that was going to be the decision. I don't remember where I saw them, but he was really positive on the the experience there.

Would be a very big get - Toronto kid who went to St Benedicts (with Tyler Ennis) in NJ - one of the best jucos in the country A power player who can score and rebound from SF at 6'7 225lbs

Catching upon this thread as of 11/22, it had appeared we were offering a bunch of 6'7" and 6'8" kids of pretty much the same type. Now we have 2 in Woods and Griffin, so assumedly we are off some of the others discussed here, and of course some have signed elsewhere.
Any updates on where we are with any of the many other targets discussed here? Curious as to the next primary target(s) for the 2 remaining 2015 'ships available.

I'm thinking that we are still in the hunt for two more bigs, a center and a swing forward. I think it is safe to say we are looking very hard at our neighbors to the north for help. After this, best available guard.

A Canadian writer indicated yesterday he heard the recruitment for 6'10 Kyle Alexander is between St Bonnies & Wake Forest. Lets hope this is true and we win out as a great local option providing playing time in a 6 bid conference within a drive from his parents home.
His dad played for Niagara University in the mid 1980s and understands the tradition & atmosphere of the Little 3
Last 2 games for Kyle 7 PTS, 19 REB, 3 BLK 13 PTS 18 REB 4 BLK

His father was quite a player for Niagara. Hope we land him!

I would love to see Alexander commit and then see a JUCO center who could make an immediate impact

I second that gobonnies15, WAKE FORREST already has a signed 6-9 225 DARIUS LEONARD for next year and are also involved with 6-9 TREVOR MANUAL (Va) and 6-9 ISIAH MAURICE(NC).

Plus they have 4 juniors 6'8 to 7'0 and 3 freshmen , one at 6'10. I am sure that we offer a better opportunity for playing time and don't list a roster of 20 players as WF does.

If we are ever going to snag a kid away from a usually power program from a big 6 conference this is it. Canadian kid with a Canadian recruiter, legacy of AN and a drivable distance for his parents. We should win this battle.
