kcSBU03- I was reading in between the lines on Rivals and the Miami U web site. Anyone with a subscription to Rivals might be better suited to factually determine if it is Bryant or some other big. Sorry if it sounded like it was gospel.

kc- forgot to mention that I am in Florida about 40% of my time but s friend who coached at Stetson told me this bit of info on a Miami big not named Alexander. They are coming late to the party but firmly believe they can barge their way in. There is a legacy of kids who think Florida, Miami, Florida State are glamor hoops spots, but turnover has been pretty high for kids who have either gotten home sick or over recruited.

bjif - ok, I may have read more into your post than you intended. Until Kentucky got involved with Bryant, it was Indiana and Syracuse as his speculated destinations but when Kentucky calls, you listen. I still think he will end up at Cuse due to proximity to home and Obokoh being there. Anyway, dont want to derail this thread any further. Really hoping Schmidt can land Alexander and if being close to home truly is a sticking point, what better place than Bonas?

According to HOOPSHYPECANADA, the BONNIES have offered 6-4 SG KAMAR MCKNIGHT. HOOPSHYPECANADA says KAMAR is at St. Patrick's School(NJ) while NORTHPOLEHOOPS lists MCKNIGHT at St. Benedict's. KAMAR is a Toronto native.

Alexander is going to blow up this winter. It will be a matter of where he wants to go and what his priorities are

Derrick Woods-he had 20pts in a 52-50 loss to the best team in their comference. suburbanonesports.com/article/content/sol-boys-basketball-wrap-1-15-15-0050098I thought we played really good team team defense, but those two guys (Steinman and Close) had their hands full with Derrick Woods all game,” Grasty said. “He’s really good down low, but they kept going into him and they played extremely hard defensively. Woods got his points, but they made him earn it.”

Duke, Texas, Pittsburgh and Michigan State are all checking in on Kyle Alexander, a 6-foot-10 2015 forward from Orangeville Prep in Ontario.
Duke assistant Nate James called head coach Larry Blunt on Friday, and Pitt and Texas have checked in in recent days. Michigan State invited him for a visit, but no visit dates are set.
“He’s 6-10 with a 7-4 wingspan,” Blunt told SNY.tv. “He runs faster than our guards and has a knack for blocking shots. His dad was a Division 1 1,000-point scorer and his sister was an All-American at Syracuse and a first-round draft pick in the WNBA. The kid has been playing basketball for three years and his potential is scary.”
Due to a wrist injury, Alexander did not make the trip South when Orangeville played last weekend in Washington, D.C., New York and Springfield, Mass., but he normally plays alongside Orangeville Prep stars Thon Maker and Jamal Murray, both of whom are mulling reclassing to 2015 from 2016.
