The official announcement from GoBonnies...
Runs, Toupane Will Not Return To Basketball Program
Matthias Runs and Jean Yves Toupane will not return to the St. Bonaventure basketball program next season, head coach Mark Schmidt announced. Both players intend to seek transfers to other institutions, he said.
"Matthias and Jean-Yves have been solid students and members of our basketball program. We wish them well," Schmidt said.
Runs, a 7-foot sophomore center from Hilversum, Netherlands, played in two games this season and did not score. Runs was not eligible for the 2012-13 season because of a delayed enrollment ruling by the NCAA. Toupane, a 6-foot-7 forward from Dakar, Senegal, played in six games this season and scored four points. He played in seven games his freshman season.

So after signing Marcus Posley we have another ship available, correct? I wonder who will sign next for the Bonnies, and what do we need the most. It appears we will be solid at the point for two years now, amen to that brothers of brown and white.

I'm glad they found good schools to continue their education. Both are foreigners and I hope they someday look back on their time at Bona's and their entire college careers as happy, productive days.
