Is the A10 going to the 18 game schedule this coming season? Also...any updates on our out of conference games? The recent signings have the Bonnies looking very strong on paper. Until the basketballs start to bounce in the Fall it's hard to determine how ready the new guys will be but I expect the Bonnies to be a better squad. With that soon to be determined, I am hoping we put together an out of conference schedule that includes at least two BCS type games. Anything further on Ohio State being pencilled in for 2014? I would hope we could add a holiday tourney and another game with an ACC program.

There are 3 posts on www.basketballtravelers.com. We are looking for the following: 1. H/H starting on the road in 2014 2. Be bought for a road game in 2014 3. Rochester opponent with a return road game in 2015

Bonnies probably owe home games to UML and South Dakota.

Yea, those were buy games. Nothing would surprise me since we did go to Ark St after all.

Just read on the A10 board that LaSalle is selling 9 A10 home games with their season ticket package so that would indicate an 18 game conference schedule

IMO a good non conference schedule would be this: Home: Siena Niagara UB Manhattan Drexel Stony Brook Away: Canisius Towson Delaware USC Neutral: Northwestern The Towson game would not only be a good matchup but it will also allow Iakeem and Jaylen to play a game in front of family and friends. USC is a winnable game and Jordan Dion and Chris could play in front of family and friends.

Niagara game to be at the FNC over Thanksgiving weekend. Essentially a road game for us now as opposed to neutral as it was in Roc last time although I would expect more Bona than NU supporters as is the case when we play at NU. Is this game a part of a double header possibly including UB and Canisius? I think this provides a very interesting opportunity if done right. Just giving up the home game really sucks. If it has to be played when the students are gone (as it seems to be every year regardless of location) I suppose its mostly just a wash.

There was also a post by JAC over on the A10 board saying that there were reports that we were playing at Pitt this season. Anybody have any insight on that?

Last year's double header in FNC was held on a terrible weather night with whiteouts in the southtowns. It still drew over 4,000 fans. Hopefully with better weather and the Brown and White being in the house, the crowd can be doubled. This could be the restart of the grand doubleheader tradition from the days of Aud. Now that the FNC is under the influence of former Olean resident Terry Pegula I think we will see more co-operative scheduling ventures.

This rumor made the rounds on Twitter a week or two back with December 13th as the date. Would be great if true as having the game on a Saturday would allow me to catch a quick flight from NY to see the game in person.

I believe effort is being made to have the NU-Bona game part of a DH.
I would like to see the even year’s Bonnies-NU game played over Thanksgiving at FNC under a DH sponsored by Tops and the odd year’s game played over Thanksgiving at BCA under a DH sponsored by Wegman's. The point is to duplicate the ‘ole Macy’s-Gimbel’s rivalry with both mega grocery sponsors trying to outdo one another to generate fan interest and benefit both schools. The dual locales would endow the footprint of both schools, help in attracting traditional student applications and appeal to alums.
NU opens at Pitt.
