Hey All- Wanted to clear some things up, 1) Marcus Posley is a SG and was brought in to play the 2 guard spot not play the PG...he played the PG at Ball State and that is one of the reasons (with the coach being fired) that he left 2) Iakeem Alston and Jaylen Adams will both start at the same level and have the same opportunity to win the starting job. Just because Alston is a JUCO and Adams a HS guy doesn't mean anything, both will have every opportunity to win the job. 3) Jalen Adams is a straight SG as well, he can't play on the ball and won't play on the ball 4) That leaves us with the following depth chart and this is how it will look with each new guy getting the opportunity to steal minutes from the returners
Point Guard Iakeem Alston Jaylen Adams Jordan Gathers- Only if foul trouble (like this year)
Shooting Guard Jordan Gathers Jalen Adams Marcus Posley
Small Forward Andell Cumberbatch Denzel Gregg Idris Taqee
Power Forward Dion Wright Xavier Smith
Centers Youssou Ndoye Jordan Tyson Chris Dees

Robfalbonnies.....Thanks for your rundown. Many excellent points. Especially pointing out that Marcus is & will be a SG in spite of his history of solid A/TO #s.
No doubt competition for starting positions will start at the same level except for center where Youssou is set.
You placed Tyson higher than Dees & that makes me hopeful he is that good as a frosh. He is a question mark for me & frosh don’t get many mins at Bona. Dees gives far more muscle & knows the 75 + offensive sets that befuddle most frosh at Bona.
On your depth chart positioning I have Marcus ahead of Jordan & then Jaylen.
At the small forward I have Denzell ahead of Andel
At the center I have Chris ahead of Tyson.
Agree with Iakeem starting PG, & Dion over X.
With this complement of players it will take time to shake out the team’s makeup & how much a 3 guard rotation will be used. We need Jalen & Marcus out there. Lots of unanswered questions but fun to speculate.
