Here is what I have heard regarding our 2014-2015 schedule, all coming from great sources
OOC Games: Dartmouth Maryland-Eastern Shore Niagara @ Canisus Buffalo @ Pittsburgh Siena @ Delaware @ Ohio
Heard there are negations with Cleveland State to start up another series with them. Cornell contract is up as is Iona. Staff is looking to add 1 more game if the Cleveland State game does in fact work out. 2 less OOC games now that the league has gone to an 18 game schedule, helps out the staff big time due to trouble with scheduling. I have not heard any rumors regarding Niagara being played at a neutral site so that can be squashed.

This number actually gives us 27 games...2 short...If Cle St works out, who could be the last one?

So looking for 2 more with Cleve State possibly one of them? Last year there was a December double header in Buffalo arena with Canisius vs UB and Niagara vs Davidson. A lot was written at the time that this year SBU would somehow be part of such a Buffalo doubleheader. Also the above 9 games show 5 home games + 9 conference home games = full 14 slate in RC. So the remaining 2 likely would be road games for this year.

I assume we are playing a game in Rochester this year? Does anyone know if that plan has changed?

I assume we are playing a game in Rochester this year? Does anyone know if that plan has changed? Maybe - but I would not assume that at all - especially when looking at the inside rumor below.

The NU-Bona game (home game for NU) will be at FNC over Thanksgiving and attempts are being made for it to be a DH with CC and UB.

Eagle I'm hearing similar and I love the idea - FINALLY Bona plays again downtown Buffalo in the big arena.
But why do you say home game for NU? We played on Niagara's campus last year - I assumed it counts as a SBU home game.

at Pitt!!!! -outstanding! - I'll be there if at all possible, then at Duquesne later during the A-10 slate. I don't suppose we could get Rashad Palmer back for the game at Pitt, could we? He and Tim Winn, then a frosh I think, torched Pitt in what I am pretty sure was the final game at the old Fitzgerald Fieldhouse on the Pitt campus before they tore that down to build their new palace. I'll never forget that game, nor will I ever stop talking about it - one of my all-time favorite Bona games. Pitt was good - they had raised the Program's level to where they expected to win and felt they were one of the better teams in the nation (and to where it had replaced former king football as the signature sport for the school) - I forget who they had on that team or even what year it was, but it was a thing of beauty to be one of a small group chanting "This is Bona territory" in an otherwise silent field house filled with overconfident Pitt fans stunned into silence by Pitt's inability to find anyone who could stop Palmer's explosive first step to the hoop without fouling him and giving him a 3 point play "the old-fashioned way." Be nice to recreate that kind of result, difficult for sure, but not impossible - I do not think Jamie Dixon's has one of his best teams coming back next year and I think our recruiting classes may be closer in talent then any in years. Go Bonnies!

Didn't Pitt back out of a return game at the Reilly Center the next year?

Didn't Pitt back out of a return game at the Reilly Center the next year? Yep, but don't worry. I'm pretty confident that there is no return game from which to back out this time around.

Bonnies' OOC SOS last year was ranked 183. The average 2013-14 RPI ranking of the nine opponents rumored to be scheduled this year is 167. If Cleveland State (2013-14 RPI=91) and one other top 100ish team can be scheduled we're headed the right way.

As robfalbonnies indicates, reliable sources have Niagara at the RC.
