If true, the dissenters will be peeved.

If while the students are away, a league game in Rochester might be worthwhile.

I heard last weekend from a pretty reliable source that there would be a Rochester game this season also. That's all the information I could get.

If while the students are away, a league game in Rochester might be worthwhile. That might make too much sense I think it was last year or year before we played VCU in the RC on a saturday january 3rd - no students - perfect game to pull out of the RC and up to rochester or buffalo.

The A-10 has released the teams Bonas will play, but not the dates. The league probably wants the Rochester game to be one where fans from both teams can get to the game rather easily. That would mean the teams are Duquesne or Fordham.

I hope we are not playing A-10 league games in Rochester, there goes whatever is left of the home court advantage.

I hope we are not playing A-10 league games in Rochester, there goes whatever is left of the home court advantage. Rochester is a very good "home" court for the Bonnies. The games played at the Blue Cross Arena have been entertaining and loud. In fact, I have been to many RC games that have not matched the spirit shown in the ROC. The timing during semester break makes the decision palatable. It will also generate funds.

So UMass could be in the mix.

Anything but the UMass game. UMass could not handle the RC last year. The place was a mad house for that game and the UMass players were so upset afterwords. I can't wait till they come back again.

That would mean the teams are Duquesne or Fordham. I doubt the league would or could put any restrictions on this. It's a Bona home game to do with pretty much as it pleases. I also suspect that either Fordham or Duquesne would bring exactly 6 of its fans each.

So many great possibilities. A game with the likes of VCU, Dayton, or SJU would be a big draw and help define Bona's footprint in our backyard.

Fordham makes sense as Severe (I think) and Thomas are from the area. So there families will equal about 30 people!!!!!
