Saw Quinton Rose play last night. They destroyed UPrep so he didnt really have to do much. Had a couple alley oop dunks and made a couple nice passes. I'll be interested to see them play in Sectionals. I heard he will be going prep next year so hopefully that doesnt expose him too much.

Saw Quinton Rose play last night. Can he shoot? I cant say for sure. I have seen him play 3 times this year and in all 3 games he didnt have to over exert himself. He buried a couple 3's in one game I saw him play but the others he was more of a facilitator and just threw down a few dunks. I am going to be at sectionals so I will see him against a good team (most likely Fairport) and then should get a better feel for his shot.

Just my opinion but if we have a shot at Kendrick it would be a must to get a commitment very early and stay with him until the fall signing period. It is very reminiscent to our losing the Canadian kid to Dayton ( Pierre) that everyone was sure we had locked up. Problem was nobody stayed with the kid from our staff. I understand he has been on campus several times and likes our small school atmosphere.Let's see if we learned anything from the Pierre recruitment!

Pierre was never locked up. It was between us and Dayton and he chose them

Why don't you ask the staff and see if you get an answer. I was told differently for a month prior to the signing period by a staff member. What do you expect them to say now. The truth is no one made the trip North of the Border in the last month, and the Dayton staff was there frequently including the Head Coach.

He didnt even verbal so how in the world was he locked up? I dont care what the staff says, you cant trust kids to keep a LOI half the time anymore let alone expect other teams to stop recruiting him and him to not listen to them. To be honest if that was really the case and they felt they had him locked up, then the staff really dropped the ball.

Quinton Rose scored 18 last night as BK "upset" Rush Henrietta in AA sectionals. I put upset in quotes as this was a 2/7 matchup....but BK plays a very tough schedule so the getting a 7 seed is kind of misleading.

They play Fairport next in what should be an awesome semifinal. I definitely plan to go see that.
