Just informational, no malice intended: guess who is over-recruiting a center? That's right, Tennessee has targeted 2016 center Raekwon Long, 6'11- 240 lb. center as a key piece to its 2016 class. Be careful what you wish for Mr. Alexander when you want "big time".

Be careful what you wish for Mr. Alexander when you want "big time". In this time of many transfers I can see Kyle Alexander having Bonnies high on his list if he becomes unhappy at Tennessee. This is especially true with Rob Lanier being his main recruiter at Tennessee. Even though Bonnies never signed one, there have been numerous rumors of Rob recommending Bonas to players who were transferring. Rob was the main reason why Tim Winn chose Bona. After Tim's freshman year Rob left to become an assistant at Rutgers. Tim wanted to leave Bonas, but Rob talked him into staying. Despite stealing Kyle from the Bonnies (apparently it was not that close) Rob has always remained loyal to the Bonnies.

Abe- You are a classic! Have you ever provided any solid information to the board other than looking to criticize others posts? Never mind, I didn't think so.

There is nothing incorrect about bjif's statement... Be careful what you wish for Mr. Alexander when you want "big time". That is a dig.... its pathetic. BJIF's statement is not a "dig" but a real possibility. No make it a probability, especially with Barnes and Rob Lanier recruiting for Tennessee (take a look at the talent they recruited at Texas). Kyle has a high upside and he better reach it quick if he wants playing time at a Power 5 school. Soon he'll be competing against players who have more than just upside, like BJIF's Raekwon Long, who is already being called a "high school hoop phenom." Kyle Alexander could reach his upside quickly and proves he can become a starter at Tennessee, but there is a definite risk that he could be like BJIF says "over recruited." With a year in the program, it will be interesting to see the bigs Barnes bring in for next year. Kyle's dad did a good job in finding a big time program that was desperate for bigs (same could be said for Kyle's 2nd choice New Mexico). He must believe Kyle has a year to establish himself before the big time recruits arrive. It is still a risk that he would not have with the Bonnies. I wish the best for Kyle, but if it does not work out at Tennessee I hope he considers the Bonnies. I honestly believe Kyle could become a starter at Tennessee. Schmidt's staff has proven they can find over looked talent. Such as Maurice Jones, who became a star at USC and Aaron White who became a star a Iowa. nesn.com/2013/04/high-school-hoops-phenom-raekwon-long-wants-to-take-his-talents-to-the-pool/

According to VERBAL COMMITS, the Bonnies staff have offered 6-7 SF JUSTIN GORHAM of Calvert High(MD). We now have 10 open offers for the Class of 2016 and 10 open for the Class of 2017. Many from Canada. Looks like an aggressive recruiting effort. Question: before this, have we ever had this many open offers at the same time?

Big doings this weekend in Canada. Besides the Pan Am games, huge CIA Bounce activity. Bonnies very well represented with Coaches Schmidt, Robinson in attendance and to assist, David Vanterpool and of course Drew. I'm sure this group is zeroing in on who we want to round out this next class! I am impressed.
