Hmmm were down 20 and only have 60 pts to start the 4th... let's throw Nicholson out there fresh off the bench with no pt yet tonight and see how he does. Pathetic.

I would say that this is more like Jacque Vaughn's make or break year. We all know that AN has the ability in the right system to be a productive player. Vaughn is the Anthony Solomon of the NBA. In over his head. He talks the game...all about match ups, etc. If you are hanging your hat on Channing Frye as your guy at forward you are in BIG TROUBLE. He doesn't like AN's game. If he let the kid play 25 minutes a game he would average 14-16 a game. Mr. Vaughn keeps losing and Hennigan will dump him before he gets dumped. Some things don't change. It's easier to fire the coach than fire the team. NY Jets are a classic example of the ax ready to fall at years end. Magic don't start winning by January and there will be a change. Would like to see AN get moved. Magic will get drilled all year. They are the Mets and Jets of the NBA. I personally am sick of Jacque Vaughn.

14-16 per game? Really? That would put him among the top 50-60 players in the league wouldn't it? You think he's at that level? That would be ahead of Tim Duncan. Seriously. Time to take the Brown colored glasses off. He can't defend and he can't rebound, at least not an NBA level. That is what keeps him on the bench. He needs to go to a place like San Antonio, or Chicago where he can play 10-15 minutes behind a top tier PF and learn the game.

The he can't defend and rebound stories are myths - someone started that and it stuck. I've watched him play over 100 Magic games - he is fine. What he lacks is playing time and at the right spot for him in the rotation. Vaughan doesn't know what to do with him because the Magic are trying to build a running team and that is not where he needs to be. So trade hime to the Knicks or the Lakers who can use a scorer.

mcenroe...You may be right on the scoring but if he never gets any substantial minutes nobody will ever know. When the Magic are 2-13 Vaughn will be running for cover. You just can't keep losing and expect people to support and listen to you. Ask Anthony Solomon. I do like Vaughn's wardrobe.

He is jumping ship at years end. Magic still reeling from Howard years. Should have held on to Stan.

Cassian...not sure what you mean by his inability to defend and rebound being myths. He does neither well. It's not myth, it's a realistic assessment. He is slow in rotation defensively and routinely gets outmuscled on the glass. Even on the nights in years past where he has played extended minutes, he has never piled up rebounds.
I do agree a change of scenery would be good. He has the ability to be a good second string PF in the NBA. He just needs to be on a team where he could receive some mentoring. Pau Gasol or Tim Duncan coils really help him make strides forward.
