Apparently the Siena Board administrator is not as confident as the Siena Hoops Blog is as TONY(the usually condescending Siena board administrator) posted after last night's Siena loss posted "I guess Siena is overrated, our lack of athleticism was really exposed...on to Olean for a probable ass kicking to Bonnies." I really hope the BONNIES put it to the Saints tomorrow especially after losing up there last year and the showing of no respect to SBU this year while kissing UMASS's behind from the Siena posters. However, I don't think the game will be easy. I see the BONNIES' 1-2-2 with DION outfront giving their backcourt fits. I do not believe Siena's PG MARQUIS WRIGHT played last night but could be a go tomorrow, he gave the BONNIES a tough time last year. ROB POOLE seemed to play in spurts last night but POOLE and RYAN OLIVER's shooting ability concerns me. Also, even though he had an off game last night, I believe LAVON LONG always brings his A game against the Bonnies. In last night's game Vermont's freshman Canadian guard who I believe our staff was involved with for a time, TRAE BELL-HAYNES gave the Saint an early career game. Hopefully our new freshmen guards can do the same but the biggest problem with freshmen is consistency. Looking forward to an exciting game.

Roads to Buffalo are now all closed, except to the north. Sienna has no choice, but to bus it. They are no doubt on their way now. They are now calling for as much as 6 ft of snow south of Buffalo. Unless the wind changes, the Olean-Jamestown are should be OK, but the snow will move closer to I-86 as this weather continues. Ummm ... 6 feet?

Lake effects can be truly impressive. As of a few hours ago, there was only 3 inches at the airport while some spots just 2 miles to the south were reporting 50. I don't think I've ever seen the bands stay so consistent for such a long time.

My man Vinny Pezz was on his way home from his honeymoon (in car from Buffalo airport) and had to abandon ship and is currently snowed in at a thankfully near by factory with workers who are also snowed in. Insanity. Hopefully he's safe, warm and will be out soon. Could you imagine 24 hours ago you are in Mexico sipping a Corona and all the sudden your literally in the middle of a blizzard in some factory in buffalo trying to stay warm? The world has a way of bringing you back down to earth... www.thebonablog.com

It's totally insane..........I know the 400 and 219 are closed - the two ways I would get from Buffalo to Olean. But, Siena should be fine, I think.

It will be up to the Olean and Rochester and Southern Tier fans to get to the RC tonight for the Siena game. Buffalo folks will be unable to attend under threat of arrest. The 219, 400 and 90 are closed, and local north/south roads are closed and blocked by abandoned cars and trucks. Some areas in central and mid Erie County have already received 4 to 6 feet of snow. Two additional feet are expected tonight. So it is incumbent upon the local fan base to show up.

gameday post is up courtesy of the guys over at the bonablog. thebonablog.com/I really think our Bonnies should get the win tonight. I think our athleticism and size inside should cause some match-up problems inside. It should be an early season test for our rookies as they go up against a senior team who brought back 5 starters.
