They will rise if they beat UAB, but Jackson State is currently ranked 312th in KenPom. Bonnies will be heavily favored, but we care less about point margin than getting another win and having our teamwork and execution continue improving while getting some Division I experience for our new guys. The win over Canisius actually lowered the Bonnies power rankings: we're now 114th in TeamRankings and 115th on KenPom, which puts us 9th in the A10 on both rankings. That's OK for this point in the season; we'll have plenty of opportunity to improve the rankings by picking off some of our more highly touted opponents. We have a lot of talent and a coaching staff that can pull it all together. Go Bonnies!

I think 1.......was it Carl Jackson? We played Mississippi State a few years ago in the RC. Probably the biggest name we've seen outside of conference in a long time. I've never understood why Schmidt's teams take so long to "gel". Losing that Siena game just stings, but last year Siena beat us and they had a bunch of freshman starting. The team always seems to get better as the year goes on, but I don't understand what coach does that makes them look like crap early. Those early should have won games are the ones that can cost us around selection time. As far as comments on NDoye. He will be a solid player for us this year as the guards get more experience, but second round draft pick...no way in heck. He may get drafted late only because you can't teach 7 feet, but the guy has very limited mobility and athleticism. That is Nicholson's problem and You isn't anywhere close to Andrew.

Sure he is not smooth with the ball, and has soccer player hands. But, he runs the floor very well floor for a big guy and has good timing in blocking shots. It is hard to compare NBA vs college, but I have seen a lot of 7' stiffs drafted. He is FAR from that.

During Baron's tenure as coach the Bonnie's signed a kid from Meridian MS ( Pollard or Pollock maybe). He stayed for a year and transferred to Centenary.

We gotta run an offense on Tuesday. We cant expect to win games here on out just chucking up shots.
The Bonnies need to start moving and Ndoye needs to start leading with a double double every game here on out.

They have two guys averaging 11.7 ppg Kaven Bernard and Javeres Brent... Bernard is a 6-5 forward Brent is a guard. They have a couple guys that are 6-8 and 6-9. They have a pretty young team that has a lot of sophomores. Theu beat Jacksonville and that is their only win so far. They lost their first exhibition game to Tugaloo. Should an easy win for the Bonnies.

Jackson State lost in their game with UAB today, 58-50. In other games SLU, Fordham, and George Mason all lost to weak opponents while UMass and Dayton upheld the A10 banner by beating Florida State and BC respectively. It seems highly unlikely that the A10 will be a six-bid conference again this year.

Fordham was playing UMass-Lowell (who we played last year) and it was at Rose Hill......battle between Fordham and George Mason to see who will finish last in the A10. www.atlantic10.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=31600&ATCLID=209779435

Robert Palmer was the guy who played for Baron for one year from Mississippi . I saw him play in the Alabama/Mississippi all star game, which featured some awesome players. He was serviceable, but didn't seem to fit in at Bonas, and left after one year.
