Some may remember Damion Lee......Bonnies wanted him badly. He's a senior now for Drexel averaging 21 points a game. Duquesne Dukes are averaging 96 points a game. Davidson.....86. Bonnies have 2 players in the top 40 rebounders in the country.......Youssou at 10 per game, and Dion at 9.5. ( who was it that said Dion was ....ahhh nevermind). Rhody in top 15 rebounding teams in the country........Duquesne top 25.......Bomnies top 30. Jay Adams hitting 52 percent from "3" point range Bonnies have 4 players averaging double figures Though it's not reflected as yet.....Bonnies will be a top 25 free throw shooting team........ Jaylen Adams, playing only half the minutes as Youssou.....has taken almost twice as many shots. Duquesne leads the COUNTRY in three point field goal percentage @ 54 percent.......the next rated a 10 team is St Lou @ number 80 ....38 percent

Duquesne has yet to play a D1 opponent and only two overall. I wouldn't get too excited about the Dukes just yet.

The Bonnies' transition eFG%=54, ranked 189th in the nation. Our overall eFG%=47.5, 201st in the nation. Most concerning is our FG% at the rim of 52.6, which ranks a lowly 273rd. It's good to have these early season games to identify areas that need work. At 37.2% our 3-point shooting isn't bad (93rd in the country) but we don't want to have to rely on it.

FT 70% - leaving too many points on the table and there is no justification for this rate, it is the easiest shot in Bball! Check this stat after each loss and see how many would've been "W's" had we improved FT%.

He is a good shooter. Bonnies shot about 72 percent last year. In checking stats from last year......NO team in the country shot 80 percent or higher. Class70......where do you get your stat info from...I would like to see that site.

Of course it could be better, but 70% is a hair above average for college basketball. Interestingly enough, that hasn't changed for at least 50 years.

Happy Thanksgiving, Hermit. To really get into the data weeds go to this site: hoop-math.com/St.Bonaventure2015.phpSomeone must have to spend an inordinate amount of time going over play-by-play narratives to quantify the results at this level of detail.

Time to beat Niagara....I want to be 10-2 before conference play..... That will be difficult being that we only play 11 OOC games.
