There are nine catholic high school in Cleveland. Are they even recruited? Bonamis closer than Dayton, Ohio U., Cincinatti , and possibly Columbus. Also we have one advantage over all of the Ohio schools. - Skiing.

Also we have one advantage over all of the Ohio schools. - Skiing. i do believe we recruit cleveland catholic high schools...i don't know which ones nor do i know if we recruit all nine...i don't know about other midwest cities, but chicago has a lot more than nine...we do some recruiting there also but, once again, i don't know if we're reaching all of them...your question, pax, has me thinking that one of the challenges the new head of enrollment will face is not just making an appearance in these cities, but expanding our presence in these cities...does that mean 1 person from admissions spending multiple days to make sure all the schools are covereed?...or does it mean adding staff to admissions (where will the money come for that?)...or organizing a "bonas night" at a central location for all the targeted schools to attend?...lots of questions/challenges for whomever takes this position...i wish him/her much success...

To answer your question sentator, I think all those areas make sense to recruit, with a ton of transplants from Western New York in the DC and NC area. I think the Midwest is also a good place to recruit for Bonas, because coming to Olean isn't such a culture shock compared to where some places kids come from in the Northeast.
I guess my biggest thing would be can we decipher where we are getting the most interest from, from using Social Media and where people are located who are searching the Bonaventure website. If you could pinpoint certain locations this might help to show where we should send more recruiters. If we can get our name out there, what people are actually noticing our name and following up to learn more.

It looks like the University's HR department did a little borrowing with their template for the open AD position. I hope Drake isn't upset! Embarrassing...

UMass lost their AD today to UCSB. It appears the new AD will be tasked with finding an all sports conference for UMass, so they can play in a better football league than the MAC. UMass is leaving the MAC after next season.
