Anyone else sadly see the similarities? That team was 14-15 overall and 7-9 in conference. Both teams had different problems, but the records are spot on to me. There's no identity or leader to be found. Just going around in circles and making no real progress.
I don't want to close the book on this season already, but things are looking bleak with Davidson+VCU up next.
Would like to add there was things I enjoyed about 12-13. The great week in Philly they had. Conger is one of my favorite all-time Bonnies.
What will the highlight be for this group? I sure hope it's not wins over UB and Duquesne.

I agree 100% that we have no leader on this team. I am watching the replay of the LaSalle game and see a couple issues for this season.
1) Lack of Leadership on the floor. 2) On the Bench and in the stands heads are down and nobody is making noise. 3) Passion...
I am very disappointed in this team as I don't expect them to win the A-10s, but I dont see the fight in many of these players. I dont see Passion and its not extending to the fans watching the game.
Lets turn this season around and fight against Davidson and VCU!

One of the more interesting (troubling perhaps?) images that was shown during the game was a close up of Schmidt sitting staring blankly with a downward gaze. I thought to myself "how odd, why isn't he fully engaged with what is going on around him?" I don't recall exactly when it occurred, or what going on at the time, but it sure looked like he was heavily in thought about something other than what was immediately in front of him.

The main problem in 12-13 was conger was over exposed at PF at closer to 6-5 than 6-6. In A10 play he was worn down.
Ashame we couldn't get another low pist player or Simmons tore that Achilles as Conget was an All a-10 SF maybe even 1st team.

Noticed the frustration JAYLEN was experiencing and expressing just about every trip to the bench last night. Either players were not at their spots on offense when they should have been or Schmidt's play calling at times could be too complicated for a fresh point guard. Too many times plays break down causing players with limited offensive skills trying to go one on one.
