We have to beat Fordham and get the #7 spot. Having 6 30 game on Thursday with all the Ny metro alumni and additional alumni flooding the Barclay Center will assist this team greatly... with a win we move to 6 30 on Friday to play the #2 seed... and I like our chances.
Students need to bring this game home on Saturday with the Reilly Center Rocking and this team needs to come ready to fight in Brooklyn!

After we beat Fordham and UMass wins at GW, who owns the tie breaker between Bonnies and Minutemen?

I just went over it in the SLU game thread. Depends who wins the conference. If Davidson, we get the tie breaker. If dayton, we lose the tie breaker. What is most likely to happen is SJU, La Salle and Duq will all lose and then We will probably end up 8th drawing SJU. Give me Davidson in the Qtrs and I am happy.

i'm not going to worry about seeding/favorable matchups. With Jay returning, I'll take my chances vs anybody in this league. Once the standings are finalized, I'll see what the road looks like. Polish off Fordham, get the Floor General back, and roll into Brooklyn ready to do damage.

If we win and GW loses we are 7 seed. If we lose we are 8 seed. If Dayton wins conference and we win and Umass lose we are 8 seed. If Davisdson wins conference and we win and UMASS loses we are 7 seed. Pretty sure that's our possibilities. Looking at 12 noon for the 8v9 game or 630pm for the 7v10 game. Bottom line we can finish no higher or lower than the 8. If we lose we are guaranteed 8.

Scenarios for Saturday --- Bonnies win + UMass win = Bonnies 7th Bonnies loss = Bonnies 8th Bonnies win + GW win to create the three-way tie at 10-8 --- Depends on what happens in the Dayton/La Salle and Davidson/Duquesne games. If either Dayton or Duquesne wins, the Bonnies are 8th. If La Salle and Davidson win, the Bonnies are 7th. ALMOST...IF DAYTON AND DUQUESNE WIN, we are 8th...if Davidson wins, they own the tiebreaker over Dayton

Davidson must win still. If they lose, the A-10 will consider those top teams tied for tie breaking procedures involving teams below them. Yes, Davidson will still get top seed based on the tiebreakers they hold with Dayton and Rhody, but that's irrelevant for breaking other ties. It's convoluted for sure.
