Vinny breaks down what it will take for the Bonnies to finish in 7th, 8th or 9th place with two games left. All scenario's are covered. Also discussed is what time you'd want to face come tournament time. For me, I'd prefer to take my chances with La Salle in an opening round game (like last year) and I'd like to avoid GW at all costs given what they did to us last week. A real downside to being in the 8 v. 9 game is that it tips at 12:30 and so a lot of alums can't make it from work. So it's either play in that early game or rise up to 7 in be in the 6:30 7 v. 10 game. That game could be nice if we could get to 7 and play SJU who could very well be the 10. We know we can beat the Hawks and they're a much better match-up for us than GW IMO. thebonablog.com/2015/03/01/who-do-you-want-to-play-a-10-tournament-scenarios-for-the-bonnies/ www.thebonablog.com

I want no part of Dayton in the 2nd round. I think they are the perfect team to beat us over and over. I think we caught Davidson with their pants down, so I'd love another crack at Rhody

I shouldn't try to predict anything with this team, but I believe the Bonnies will finish 7th by winning two more while GW wins only one. I'm agnostic on who's best to play first, but I hope we avoid Dayton and Richmond if we get deeper into the tourney. Both of those teams swept us without leaving any doubt as to who had the better of the match-up.

Besides the obvious, I really don't want to play La Salle or SJU. I think La Salle is a dark horse to make a deep run in the A10 Tourney. They've looked pretty good the last few weeks, and Price is a solid player. I don't think SJU is that good, but I don't like our odds of beating Martelli three times in one year.
But with that said, I rather take on SJU in a 7/10 game and end up playing Davidson or URI in the second round.
Let's beat SLU. I think that game will be tougher than most expect...

Dayton and Richmond own two wins each over Dem Bonnies. I'd want no part of either...matchup problems galore.
I'd prefer GW or LaSalle on a neutral floor w/revenge factor.

I'll take St Joes for the opener and then hope we see URI next. I think that is the best path for us. Careful what you wish for...

Personally I'd like to see St. Joes in the 7/10 game if we can move up to that 7 seed. As far as the second round I'd want no part of Dayton but would take my chances with URI. I think URI has a good chance to win the whole thing but they are a defensive team who generally plays low scoring games where they don't blow anyone out. They don't have a very good offense and their FT shooting is awful. If you can match them on the defensive end (like we did at URI), you will have a shot to beat them with 4 minutes left....VERY similar to SLU last year. I said going into last year I'll take SLU all day because you'll have a chance to beat them with a few minutes left. We did and we won. I feel the same about URI. They're a very good team but they have flaws. www.thebonablog.com
