I say this but it is possible I am incorrect: If we finish in a 3 way tie with UMass and GW, the 1st tie breaker is record against the group (maybe win %?) GW would be 2-0 against the group and they would take the 6 seed. Since we split with UMass and both lost to GW, it would come down to record against the 1st seed which hopefully is Davidson. If it is Dayton, UMass takes the tie breaker and we are 8th. To be honest, however we get to play St Joes is what I want. If its the 8-9 so be it and then I hope its Davidson at 1. To me that is the best scenario. Duquesne has thrown their hat into the ring as well but they scare me because of their volatility behind the arc.

I just realized that if we finish 7th, Dayton finishes 2nd...if we finish 8th, Dayton finishes 1st...either way, they are our 2nd round matchup...please correct me if I've wrong, which I may be...based on Dayton 2nd place tiebreaker possibilities

Playing Dayton might be better as they are already a lock for the tournament where Davidson is not and a perceived second "bad loss" against us would all but kill their chances.

Went to local bar and drank WAY to much PRB to watch this game... I guess so.

We can finish 7th if we win and GW loses, which is totally independent of what Dayton does (and Davidson for that matter).

To make a run in Bklyn we will need Youssou to step up his game.
Last night Youssou was 1-4 (5 total pts) with 5 rebs against arguably the worst team in the A10 with no inside stoppers. Gillmann is a skinny frosh 6'10" with 2.2 rebounds a game & 3.6ppg.
YN over his past 4 games has averaged only 4 shots a game. He stuggles mightily getting position and when he gets the ball deep his turn overs & a .467 FG% doesn't ensure he will finish.
Lately, his scoring is essentially coming from the stripe. Over the past 4 games he has 27 pts from FTs while only 12 pts from FGs (6 of 16/.375).
It’s great to draw fouls & knock down your FTs (he does a super job of that) but he must provide a greater balance in his offensive game IF we are to be successful in Bklyn.

Indeed we are 3-1 & love it.
That's 3 critical wins but against teams that are a combined 16-35.
I want to see Youssou's "A" game in Bklyn to make a run.

I hear you and you are right. Ndoyes lack of shots are partly because batch Posley and dion have contributed so much

For a guy that size and who rebounds that well, it seems like he ought to be able to get a handful buckets per game just on putbacks. Four attempts a game is almost like you are avoiding the hoop.
