Not to put the jinx on anything, I am thinking with how the season has gone that this is Mark's best coaching year since his arrival. Potential to go 10-8 in conference, 17-12 overall when the pre-season pundits had us in the bottom four. Recruiting wise...Poseley, Adams and Taqqee all paying first year dividends. I have been critical with the OOC scheduling but you have to give credit where credit is due.

Idris Taqqee is starting to look like he will become a solid contributor.

A program record for road wins and one of the top A-10 win totals in program history. With this roster, yes, it is most definitely one of his best coaching jobs. Without question.

If Coach SCHMIDT is going to watch his son's OHS playoff game tonight, I hope he sticks around for the Cheektowaga game that follows. Cheektowaga has this 10th grader who has already scored over 1,000 points in his varsity career, I believe his name is DOMINICK WELCH, he looks around 6-2 or 3.

Anyone know if Coach Schmidt went up to watch his son last night? I see DOMINIC WELCH scored 25 points in a loss to Amherst so Olean will not be playing Cheektowaga.

No, Schmidt did not go to watch his son (perhaps his wife did). Schmidt did his radio show from the casino last night.
