Let's see where he goes and how he does. I am assuming he is heading to a higher ranked conference where getting recruited over is common. The NCAA tournament is an annual reminder that there are plenty of kids that fly under the radar and become stars once they hit college. Mark has a good eye for spotting that kind of player so everybody needs to pull themselves off the ledge and let things play out. We won 10 conference games last year and if you look at our projected starting five there is not a kid on the roster that was chased by the Power 5. It's very quiet which with this staff is generally the way it goes.

So there you go with the major. Not the right fit for him.

We're making the switch from him being the next Nicholson to him being a zero talent player with bad character because he didn't sign with us. At least we waited until double digit posts to get there.

So there you go with the major. Not the right fit for him. true bigdobber, the school wasnt a fit for kyle's academic pursuits, thats all. I am assuming you guys are joking. Let's see where Kyle ends up before we conclude that he crossed us off the list for academic reasons. Please!! The kid plays on the top AAU team in Canada, Orangeville Prep. It's a basketball factory. The team has 7 coaches on staff. Their job is to place their kids with the best US schools they can get. It's good for business. Three of the guys on this years team, Jamal Murray, Thon Maker and Jaylen Poyser, are potential one and done NBA picks. Daddy Joe is seeing stars. He wants his kid to get a piece of the pie. The marketing machine, led by Daddy Joe and the AAU coaches, have been in full force for months on this kid. Since he has only played 2 years and was hurt most of this year, we see the constant comments on his size and measurements and wing span and raw potential and all that other nonsense. No one knows if he can play because no one has seen him play much, except Daddy Joe. Of course, let's throw the academics nonsense in there to round off the total packaging of the kid. I'll be honest. I bought into the hype, sight unseen. I mean, he got selected to the big all-star game in Canada by his own AAU coaches for God's sake. He must be good, right? Of course, he didn't play. Why run the risk? He might get exposed that he's not ready and have to accept an offer from a school like Bona. Not my boy Kyle. Here's all you need to know. At the end of the HoopsHype article, Daddy Joe said that upon their return from Tennessee, they will meet with his AAU and high school coaches and discuss his future before making a decision. I am fairly certain the AAU coaches, all 7 of them, are not going to offer opinions on film school. As with the majority of these AAU coaches, they will recommend the best basketball school in the best conference, not the best academic school. And Daddy Joe will follow along. Kyle too. After all, it's good for business.
