I just hope going to the 30 second shot clock isn't a prelude to going too a 24.. I would hate to see college basketball mirror the NBA, in regards to players playing one-on-one, or firing off bad shots. The main reason I love college basketball, opposed to the NBA, is the "team" aspect. Much more passing, and getting everyone involved.. And i don't necessarily see the scoring being increased by this move. I know more possessions means more opportunities, but the way we/Bonas play, we pass and use those extra seconds to find that good shot..

eliminating the "hanging on the rim" technical... hmmmm.. 15 years too late I really haven't seen it called in those 15 years, either. Every time I see somebody do it and not get called, I get mad all over!

Ha well that article is the polar opposite of my theory on how the shot clock change will affect the Bonnies offense.. Maybe I still had the image of Ndoye down low, and our tendency to throw it down low to him, and him back out, and then throwing it around the horn.. Either way, i guess its a wait and see, but i guess i could see how this yrs team, and the following yr (lacking a big man down low and scorers in the backcourt), might change that.. Nice find on the article..

My preference would be to shorten the shot clock in the last two minutes of each half.
