Good, I'm glad Abe is back. I'd rather read anything than more discussion of RC seating arrangements. What's going on with the RC seating arrangements?

When will the A10 be releasing the dates for the A10 schedule? Last year we knew we were playing Mason in Rochester by the end of August.

not really, but do you see one top 30 team here? Its good to play competitive MAC or CAA schools, but you need to have two or if you are lucky three bigger conference games. The biggest game we have is Syracuse and they are on probation. They will be a shell of themselves. It sort of seems like the program is too scared to play bigger schools.... I mean look at this schedule.... geez its the weakest in the confrence I really think you dont get how hard it is to get these teams to play you when you are not a guaranteed win. Arkansas Pine Bluff plays all the big schools because they will schedule them. Why is that? Because they know they will paste APB. With us, we are good enough to pull an upset and they wont play us. That makes no sense.... How often do we beat good out of conference teams? Look up/down the a10 schedule/ everyone is playing tougher teams.

Why should teams take the chance when they can play worse teams and boost their win totals? The A10 teams that are scheduling better are doing it for a reason, the teams will play them. We cant even get a team to play us in Rochester or Buffalo anymore.

Today's th: UB will open against UPB which is about 20 miles from bona. will be a game with some local interest . UB fans were harping about the Duke road game but were vocally very disappointed when the schedule was actually released. I much prefer the Bonnies schedule. The Bulls play a game against a D2 and a D3(!) team and will only meet local rival Niagara if the both make it to the finals (or lose in the semi) of the small school bracket of a tournament in Connecticut. St. Joes is in the big time bracket with Buffalo having go to St Joes (a SBU peer) for a single game as part of the deal to be in the small school bracket. One of the big road games is VCU--a team that comes to the RC regularly. www.ubbulls.com/sports/mbkb/2015-16/schedule As much complaining people do about the scheduling, imagine being a UB fan and thinking the NCAA tournament trip would yield some respect in scheduling. The Bonnies remain the highlight of Buffalo's schedule.

The Bonnies remain the highlight of Buffalo's schedule. Being the Daemen game is on Nov 6th, I would assume it is an exhibition game. Now this is odd....the UB/Pitt-Bradford game is both a regular season game and an Exhibition game at the same time..... The game will be an exhibition for the Panthers but a regular season contest for the Bulls. It will be the fifth time the two teams will play each other, with Pitt-Bradford holding a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series. athletics.pittbradford.org/sports/mbkb/2015-16/releases/20150901ihkr64

I suspected Daemen was an exhibition but the schedule and the article from UB did not say it was and they (and Pitt-Brad) have said the game is countable so I figured it may be labeled correctly.
At best, they are home games; at worst the Bull's home schedule is very limited for any fans they may have attracted last year.

yikes. that is one ugly schedule.
when they host us December 2nd at the mausoleum generically named "Alumni Arena," they seriously could only have 2 "wins." UPB and Daemon. Then after we hammer them they get paid to travel and get hammered by Duke and Iowa St... it could get ugly, early for them

Atlantic 10 has released its full conference schedule. A lot of the game times are still TBA, but here are the matchups and dates.
Sat. Jan. 2 vs. Davidson Wed. Jan. 6 at George Mason Sat. Jan. 9 at Umass Wed. Jan. 13 vs. Rhode Island Sat. Jan. 16 at Duquesne Tues. Jan. 19 vs. Dayton Sat. Jan. 23 at VCU Sun. Jan 31 vs. Richmond Wed. Feb. 3 at St. Joes Sun. Feb. 7 vs. St. Louis Wed. Feb. 10 at Fordham Sat. Feb. 13 vs. George Washington Wed. Feb. 17 at La Salle Sat. Feb. 20 at Dayton Wed. Feb. 24 vs. Duquesne Sat. Feb. 27 vs. Umass Wed. Mar. 2 vs. St. Joes Sat. Mar. 5 at. St. Louis
It looks like the toughest part of our schedule will come in late January when we face Dayton, VCU, and Richmond. At least two of those games will be home. I believe the most favorable part of the schedule is the end. Four straight games against teams that will be projected to finish in the bottom half of the conference. Three of those games at home.
Overall I like our schedule, Most of the top-tier teams we have at home and excluding Dayton, all of the teams we have to play twice we may be projected to finish ahead of. I'm looking forward to the season getting started!

Davidson and RI home but without students and UMass and GM on the road. If we get thru January with a winning record, the team could be sitting pretty come A-10 Tournament time.
