This thread is about recruiting students in an attempt to help boost overall enrollment.
I had dinner last night with a member of the enrollment committee. I mentioned the efforts of MM77 of this board and this generated some excitement in the conversation (the committee member was well aware of the Bandwagon's existence). I said that I would be willing to undertake the same sort of localized recruiting by speaking with local prospective students armed with some brochures to leave with them, their parents and/or guidance counselors and I said that I would bet that there would be plenty of Bandwagoners willing to do the same. This was met with enthusiasm and gratefulness.
What say you, fellow Bandwagoners? If you are willing to lend your time and talents to help SBU, please private message me and leave your email address at a minimum (it would be more beneficial to leave me with your name and mailing address in addition to the email address). I will then pass your info on to admissions/enrollment for getting some marketing materials into your hands.
Note - this effort need not be restricted to Alumns!

Bumping this to keep it noticed. We have some volunteers but, of course, more would be welcomed.

Bumping this again to seek a broader response. So far, three willing volunteers aside from myself. C'mon, folks. Where is your spirit?
