Things about Fordham are drifting into the Saint Louis thread, so now we have a Fordham thread. I will be at Rosehill, looking forward to seeing the Bonnies live.

I am hoping the fact that we are on the road will force our guys to focus on the task at hand. Come out with a ton of energy and get back to the basic things we have been doing all year. Do that, come out with the W, get back on the bus and go home. No mess, all business.

Fordham's leading scorer and killer of the 2012-13 SBU season, Mandell Thomas, was a DNP on Saturday against St. Joes. They lost that game by 22.
Anybody know Thomas's status? It would be a shame if Thomas couldn't suit up on Wednesday. He's just a few points shy of becoming the 13th leading scorer in Fordham basketball history.

I'll be there with some other alumni as well. Thomas was held out with a ankle injury, not sure what his status is for Wednesday. Need to get this and have momentum going into a huge game vs GW.

I look forward to a loud Bona contingent at Rose Hill & a victory gathering of hundreds at the McGinley Center immediately following the final buzzer. Charlie T is deciding on which banner to bring. Maybe he brings both. Hopefully there won’t be a lid on the basket at Rose Hill.
Mandel Thomas was sorely lost in their 22 point loss to the Hawks. No doubt his impact was missed. First thing I’ll look for entering Rose Hill will be Thomas’ status for the game.
Fordham is not a strong rebounding team. If we can keep Rhoomes in check we should do well on the glass. Rhoomes is tough to contend with inside. At 6’8” he is all about positioning & nose for the ball. He grabs 9 boards & his 14 ppg come on 67% shooting ranks him # 6 in the nation. His ability to get to the line, far more than his teammates, may put Dion, Derrick & Jordan in foul trouble. That concerns me.
As a team we get to the stripe far more than Fordham and with much better results. We are #2 FT% (.789) to their # 11 (.687). We shoot much better from everywhere, and defend treys much better. Yet we allow as many points as them .
Fordham’s greatest strength is their ability to make steals (#2 in getting swipes). We must take better care of the ball than the 16 TOs in our nail biting win over a lesser team at home & not start 0-9 treys.
Safe travel to all heading to Da Bronx.

Cannot wait to watch dem Bonnies in person for this game. Will there there with 4 other alumnus! May as well start the winning in NYC early and warm up for doing so into the A10s in Brooklyn, right?
Go Bonas!
Really hoping Tyson can bounce back in this game. We will need him vs Rhoomes.

Bonnie's should beat the Rams easily but in saying that hey can't overlook Fordham....GW is on everyone s mind.....beat the Rams and move on to the biggest game in Olean in a couple of decades.....honstly I wouldn't mind giving Posely minor minutes vs Fordham....we know his hip is hurting......would love to rest this guy on Wednesday night.......we better play better than we did vs ST LOUIS......

Remember to not eat to much on Arthur Ave as we need to cheer on our Bonnies and make sure everyone listening over the WPIG airwaves are fully aware that we have taken over Rose Hill Gymnasium!
Go Bonas Beat Fordham!

I like our chances a lot more if Thomas is out.

The Mandel Thomas "chip on the shoulder" cannot be overstated. My hope is the team is able to focus on this game since they are out of town and it should be their "life" for 48 hours. Our defense will be the key.

I'll be there. Hoping for the Bona faithful to show up and be loud! Always remember former Rams coach Bob Hill complaining about having to enter his own gym and pass through more Bona fans than Fordham fans. Every game matters now with only eight to play!
