They throw the womens program under the bus and the mens gets off with nothing. The NCAA truly is a joke.

NCAA feels that "paper classes" have more value than a welding certificate.

it's sad, but you have to see it coming. UNC is a money-making powerhouse. The majority of their fans couldn't even tell you what state it's in, but they sure as hell will spend their money on tarheel gear, and thats all the NCAA cares about.

I think Syracuse fans might have a gripe. UNC had fake classes that athletes attended, that has to be under institutional control. They changed it from "impermissible benefits", that is very curious. I remember Rashad McCants from the 05 title team saying the whole thing is a fraud. If UNC does not lose scholarships and Roy doesnt forfeit games, it was not an even playing field. If you compare what happened at each school, they are not far off yet the punishments are way off

Syracuse, especially, continues to violate the rules more and more spanning over many years and STILL chooses to opt to try and get away with anything they can. Then, they suffer basically NO consequences and there is NO impact for their crimes. Why bother having any rules if you're not going to be given appropriate consequences to stop the deviance?

To be fair, that is not what you said, all you did was point out that Syracuse fans are whiners: "You know what the joke is? Syracuse fans complaining like they got the "death penalty" for their infractions while NC gets a "slap on the wrist"" Syracuse lost scholarships, UNC it appears will not. As I said, the NCAA is a joke. If you are Duke, UNC, UCLA...etc, the rules dont apply.

I saw this headline today, "NCAA hammer comes down hard on Southern Miss former coach", and I realized "Boy, the NCAA must be really mad at North Carolina".
kudos to the original Tark
