Great cause, great time! When was the last time you rooted for the Bonnie's at home?

I wish there was a 70's weekend, plenty to celebrate from those years.

This has been a wildly successful event, and will lead to another sold out RC.
Also, a 70s weekend should be put together for December 3rd, to welcome back the NIT Championship Team. Call your neighbors and classmates!

Call your neighbors and classmates! Right. Why "wish it" when with a little work you can get it done. I suggest you contact the organizers of 80's weekend for tips on how they made their weekend such a success.

How 'bout a late 50's - early 60's weekend?
Do you think we'd be able to play the game in the Armory? <G>
Probably wouldn't seem right though if it wasn't totally filled with cigarette smoke.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

MM77 - sugest yougive Seth Johnson a call in the Athletics Office. His job is marketing and promotions. I can't help but think he'd be willing to help find a way to put more fannies in the seats - ALBEIT EVEN THEY MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN THEY ONCE WERE!!!

Don't forget this man when you're there, boys. I had the priveledge of playing in Als' orchestra for the Miss New York State pageantt back in....'77? There was no finer man..... I also played in his band, doing weekend gigs. On break, we would go out to the van, turn the radio on, and catch how the Bonnie's were doing. I love the Bonnie's.....but gee, I think Al went back to the beginning....whenever that was! What a great man, and I've known no finer musician.

Were you in the Reilly Center during the 2015 80s Weekend when the Bonnies knocked off nationally-ranked VCU? Who will forget Marcus Posley's buzzer beater? (Click the link below for a video of Marcus' shot and the court-storming that followed.) You don't want to miss the 2017 80s Weekend when VCU returns to the RC for what is likely to be another classic RC Bonnies game! In addition to some great basketball, 80s Weekend has become the "reunion between reunions"--a great opportunity to see your classmates and friends from the 1980s. The fun kicks off at Four Mile Brewing in Olean on Friday, February 3 with our Welcome Party hosted by a Bonaventure alumnus and owner of Olean's microbrewery. Hope you can join us! For a full schedule of 80s Weekend activites, register today for 80s Weekend: netcommunity.sbu.edu/NetCommunity/events/80s-weekend-2017Posley's game-winning, buzzer-beater: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEkUwRnvOi0Don't forget. Hotel rooms in Olean are limited and will sell out for this special weekend. Book a room today, knowing that you can always cancel up to 24-48 hours depending on the hotel. We recommend: Fairfield Inn (across from Dev), Best Western University, Old Library Inn, Seneca Allegany Resort (Salamanca). Hotels are also available in Ellicottville but often sell out in ski season. Find your options at kayak.com, travelocity.com, expedia, com, etc. Questions?
