My buddy just told me a nasty rumor, we didn't get a bid in the NIT but Davidson and Richmond did? Could that be true Yes, it could be true and would't shock me, but as has been said "bids haven't gone out yet."

How do we stack up against Davidson for a NIT bid, it would seem we both have + / - for the selection.
RPI: Davidson 90 & SBU 91 A10 regular season: SBU A10 tourney: Davidson

COPE, what is Davidson's biggest win after Dayton? Why would Davidson be our competition? We finished 5th in A-10. 11-7, 20-12. Overall. They finished 9th in A-10 8-10, 17-15 overall. We may not got a bid but if Davidson gets one over us that snub would be almost as bad as last year. It's not even close.

Rumor could be true. They couldn't keep the NCAA brackets off of Twitter before they were announced on TV last year.

One big plus is that Cuse will be a host and a 1 seed, regionally speaking we would be a perfect match. We will see, but Davidson also beat VCU this year as well. Jack Gibbs senior year, NIT likes to have star power... Maybe only Richmond gets in. Man those losses to Canisius and Little Rock destroyed us

In either case, Davidson was the 9 seed in the A10 tournament and got blown out by URI. Davidson finished with a losing record in the league (8-10), 17 15 overall. There is no way they are going to the NIT over us. We played URI as well as VCU did. URI is the best team in the A10 at the moment and will go far. Richmond has a chance, as do we.

How could Davidson make it over st Bona? That's insane Like brownindian11 said, it could come down to Davidson defeating us in the regular season AND their win over Dayton. We didn't beat anyone with a great track record the last ten games of the season (at least) and Davidson did...in the tourney. I'm hoping it's not looked at this way, but could be. I would rather have at least Davidson in over us than to have neither of us in the NIT.
