Believe it or not but Chad Venning’s decision had a lot to do with academics than NIL money.
He’s a Bona grad now (well soon) and wanted to do his graduate studies elsewhere, I can respect that

Still kind of odd that he would move on when Bonaventure offers that program. He came here and they really developed him as much as they could. He had so many minutes he couldn't even endure it. Also, every possession ran through him for almost the whole season. Just odd. He can go there and not learn that system and his speed may really hurt him. I liked Chad and wish him well but I don't always think moving on for one year is the right decision.
Also, this is just my opinion and really don't mean to harm anyone or argue. Thanks in advance to all the sensitive bandwagon members.

Thanks in advance to all the sensitive bandwagon members. I mean BC is an elite school and has a much larger and much more influential alumni base than we do. Nothing wrong with that. If he does go to BC and graduates with a marketable degree (not sports studies or anthropology), then he will be in good shape when his MBB career ends. Pretty sure he was a management major at SBU, and BC's Carroll School of Management is top notch. Good luck to him.

JAQUAN SANDERS, 6-4 SG is leaving Seton Hall, when JAQUAN came out of Our Savior Luthern, BONAVENTURE was in his Final 5, and although his Mother wanted him "out of the city" SANDERS commited to St. John's, decommited then went to Seton Hall,we'll see if any mutually interest this time around.

Right level? You sure? So we cannot remember any past Bona player who improved after his second year? Ugh. Barry is a excellent athlete who was under-utilized. He 100% could have developed into a key piece for us if he was patient and/or if Schmidt would have valued him.
Perhaps these guys should have transferred to Bryant because they were not very good in years 1 and 2: Dion Wright Vidal Massiah Matthew Wright Denzel Gregg Youssou Ndoye Etc Etc Etc

Barry Evans committed to Bryant. I don’t really understand but whatever… America East Conference, definitely a step down, probably didn't get much attention.....we knew his positives, but many did not, poor stats. Of course, that is Charles Pride almamata.....the coach our beloved Phil Martell Jr.
