Don't understand Coach's substitution pattern. He hardly plays Nicholson in the 2nd half and takes him out when were down 14 with 8 minutes to go. he is our only offensive weapon. play him until he fouls out. With the defense we play and no offense sets for the post we are going to lose anyway so let the cooks and nicholsons and davenport play. it will help them later in the season. Matthew's is totally useless on defense. There is no energy from him and several players. At least davenport and cook give you energy

Simple game ball goes in you win, why no Nicholson?? Every play should run through him till he is triple teamed. If I can see this why can't our coach??

dalcin, At least Matthews tries to defend, unlike Hall who is the laziest defender we have.

Typical St. Joe's v. Bona game, a non competitive blowout. Agree with above posters, coach needs to play Andrew more, and there is no excuse for it. He is the best player on the entire team, he needs to play over 30 minutes a night if he is not in foul trouble. In addition, it is time to sit Matthews, he is so one dimensional that he has lost all value to the team for now, start Davenport and see how he does. Also, I am disappointed in Coach right now, he didn't have the team ready to go vs. Duquesne and he didn't have them ready to play tonight vs. a team that is very beatable. I hope we can get a W against Richmond because the losses can pile up very fast in league play and this team needs to keep their confidence during A10 play. Carter looked like crap again tonight, Benson might as well not be on this team anymore and Eleby and Blackburn have regressed over the past month. We need to step forward now, as coach said teams either get better or worse this team of the year, and right now we look as if we are moving backwards.

win 6 or 7 or as i hoped 9 and i'll be ok. if not. kill it. I'm done. I'm so fucking tired of this. Day in day out. Week in week out. Month in month out. Year in year out. HALF DECADE IN HALF DECADE OUT. WE CAN'T WIN! Schmidt is the best coach we've had since baron. I love him. Spark a fire because we're getting tired Mark. I've said it before and I don't care how asinine it sounds. Get a fucking hockey team. A Division 1. . ."beat the shit out of your local rivals" hockey team. Niagara, UB, Cornell, St. Lawerence, Mercyhurst, Washington and Jefferson, Penn St, Suny everything, Syracuse, Hobart, ND, Maine, BC, BU etc. I'd watch those games over watching this team. Again I'm tired and frustrated. But if you honestly think a basketball team has more longevity in western new york than a hockey team? I want your dealers number. Bum out.

Relax with the hockey talk. This team is much improved over the last four years teams, but winning in this league will take some time. St. Joe's is down, but they are still better than us and they have a great history of beating Bonas. We need to focus on beating teams like fordham again, GW, Richmond, St. Louis, etc...Those are the teams we are competing against for the 12th spot this year. Beating SJU is icing on the cake right now, our time will come.

Wade. . .tired. . .sorry about my language before but I'm beyond frustrated.
And I understand those who think the hockey talk is nonsense. We can never afford a rink and blah.
We're pouring dollars into something that hasn't worked since. . .let's be honest. . .1970.
I love St. Bonaventure more than anything else in my life. . .yup my life is pretty pathetic.
Think about tomorrow. After 10 years of 11-19 seasons I would think it's time to rethink the plan of attack.
If a product you carry continually underperformed wouldn't you drop that product? As much as you love it and as much as it kills you to do it?
Life is a FUCKING business.
Bonaventure is life to me.
Build a rink. Form a team.

Bonabum listen I am all for them forming a real hockey team, I think it would be great for the school. I just don't want anyone to give up on the basketball team yet, and want to swing all our cash into something else. Schmidt has things going the right way and in a few years, I really think we will be a very good team. Be patient for now though.
Hockey is a great sport and WNY loves hockey, but Bonas needs more cash. It we had the money to do, I would be 100% for it.

We simply have no guards.
And bonabum, a hockey team? I mean, I don't know much about college hockey, but aren't like three or four of those teams you named some of the best teams in the country on an annual basis? How would we beat the shit out of them?
I guess that's not the point, but relax. We are a season and a half through this coaching staffs tenure and we are right about where we should be realistically. We just flat out need some better guards.

because the talent is UP THERE. Look at Pat Kane and the umpteenth billion other buffalo, niagara, toronto, rochester talent that are in the nhl now. Finding an nhl center in the surrounding area is easier than finding an nba point guard.

Everyone's frustrated but we're only three 3 games into A-10 play. Let's take a deep breath and focus on getting to AC this year. We can still be competitive in this league and I know it's taking forever for us to accomplish that but we'll have our day again. I really believe that. This is not the time to give up on the program. We lost to St. Joe's. So what. This just wasn't our game. We play Fordham again and we're yet to play GW. I think we'll win those games plus a few surprises and that should should be enough to get us to AC. If we don't make it this year, then throw a sh1t fit. But right now isn't the time.

something must have happen to this team to lose or not have team unity. example, announcing of the bonnies lineup - Eleby goes to greet thomas and he gives him the cold shoulder???
maybe if we could have a priest exocide the RC our preformance would change.
CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU ? MAY DAY - MAY DAY, SOS SOS SOS, SOMEBODY CALL 911 ...........
