Nicholson 20 pts at half, 8 pts in the 2nd half...that's a coach knowing how to make halftime adjustments--something Schmidt is clueless about.

Its frustrating because we had a very good shot to steal this game and our inability to breaka press along with terrible officiating gave it away.

Besides the poor officiating, our shot selection and passing decision making was very questionable too.

Well tough loss but that was some fine entertainment tonight if I was Coach I would get a highlite tape of all those turnovers to show every pg recuit.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH--HAS SCHMIDT NEVER TAUGHT THE TEAM HOW TO BREAK A PRESS?
Blackburn would've been handy tonight.

For me it came down to the final 2 min.s 3 turnovers in a row that was the ball game. This team will be back next year with more players future looks bright. Hell watching Nicholson makes me want to watch more...He really brought it tonight.

Let's Hope Andrew sticks around for 4 years!! He will dominant the A-10 in his JR and SR years! I hope the major offseason focus is on trying to find the best PG out there.

Bonaballa, why would you expect our freshman forward/center to duplicate that 1st half? Apparently that was Schmidt's fault? No, the Bonnies were unable to pull off a difficult road win in the conference. Duquesne is a solid team. I think the team, Schmidt, the coaching staff, and all of us fans are disappointed. But, Schmidt has done a fantastic job with this team.

Reading a bonaballa post is resembling a joke more and more every single day. Watching a game where Benson played his heart out and played very well giving us a boost off the bench, something that only Davenport has been doing lately, and the whole game he posts negative towards him.
Then to follow it up he blames a 31 TO loss on Schmidt and is the first to call out the fire Schmidt chant the instant the game is over. What a joke.

92alum, sure the 31 TOs are the tell-tale stat as why we lost but if my calculations are correct the DUKES were 24-32 from the line, while we were only 5-10? The DUQUESNE announcers said after the foul called on MALCOLM "you see that call alot in the NBA but rarely is it called in college" let alone at a very key time of the game. Even after the call on MALCOLM, I thought a very obvious travel call on JACKSON on the DUKES's next offensive set was not called.
