I think nyc is just saying that Roseboro needs to develop a little bit, which isn't all that surprising considering he's just a freshman not accustomed to banging around down low with guys his size and thrived as more of a perimeter oriented big man. I've said all along that it would be a big bonus if we got 6 pts 5 rebs a game from this kid.

ok. I did not say ANYTHING about him being a bum of any sort. I've actually been hyping this kid up until i've seen him in action. The kid has a long way to go. He will not start at the beginning of the season. I wish the best to him and hope he can do something at bonas

Haha, I didn't say you did, all I was suggesting is that playing against some kid in a pick up game is a little bit different on the intensity scale than, say, the last two minutes of a close game. He's looked good in practice and has held his own against Andy and I'd take that over a game in the Richter.

I'm concerned that he was getting pushed around like that. Maybe they don't push him around in practice (its not like we have any big, physical guys on our team).

I was down at bonaventure this whole week (visiting alot of friends and faculty). I play basketball at bonas all the time and against the team all the time. I played against Roso this week and lets just say. he is not a protype 6'11 guy. I didn't guard him (obviously i'm only 6'0 and 175lbs) but my best friend did (6'5 245lbs) and he was pushing him around like a baby in the low post. One thing though, the kid has a nice jumper that even streched out to the three point line but if he is getting pushed around by my friend who could probably play d-3, then he can't play down low in the A-10. I realize now why marquette let him go. I hope we can use his shooting ability though Wonder if this potential d-3 All American is the same guy who took Jeff Foote to task? Jeff was so terrible in the intramural according to the poster .... so we all know how that turned out as Jeff is having a better than solid career and playing in the NCAA tourney. How motivated is a 6-11 scholarship player against a d-3 wannabe anyway? Yeah, Let me bang this guy and prove to him ..... exactly what anyway?

I'm really good friends with Jeff Foote and he didnt even want to come to bonaventure. at all. and he didn't give a shit about the program or anything. They had him on a strict weight gain program and he gave me all his muscle milk and protein etc etc. Anyways, he didn't even try when he was here and didnt try when he was on the court during practice and scrimmages in the richter d-3 all american. lmao. what in the world are you talking about. I would hope jeff is doing good. He is 7'0, plays in the shittiest coference in america and has the wingspan of Manute Bol. i swear this board is like a little 13 year old girl. You say one little thing that is against the players and I get attacked which is funny cuz NONE of you guys have seen these guys play more than me or even played WITH them. crazy

A 6'5 245lb 24 yr old is small? and is pushing around our 18 yr old true frosh Roseboro? I'd imagine that same 6'5 245lb guy could push/physical up Andrew too when he was a frosh in his 1st weeks on campus.... so the conclusion is ?? Andrew would not be a player in the A10?
