I really enjoyed this game last year and would hate to see it die, so I'll take the reins on this for the year. OleanSBU, if you want to split it still then let me know, but I think I can probably handle it.
For those of you who don't know, and to serve as a refresher for those who do, here's the rundown of how this game works:
-- You pick the final score of the game.
-- If you choose the winning team, you get -5 points
-- If you choose the losing team to win, you get +5 points
-- The point differential from the final score of both teams is then added up from your choice and the actual final.
-- For example, if you choose Bona's to win 80-75 tomorrow, and they win by exactly that score, you get -5 points.
-- If Bona's wins 83-72, you add 3 points because you guessed Bona's would have 80, and you add 3 points because you guessed Cleveland State would have 75. That totals 6 points. However, you picked the Bonnies to win, so you subtract 5, leaving you with 1 point for the night.
-- If you take the exact same example just used, but you picked Cleveland State to win, you add 5 points to your 6 points, leaving you with 11 points for the night.
-- Finally, you have until gametime to submit your scores. Anything submitted after won't be accepted.
-- Obviously, lowest score wins for the game, and the person with the lowest cumulative at the end of the year wins the honor of calling themselves The Points Game Champion.
I think I covered all the scenarios, but if I missed something/confused some of the rules, let me know.
I'll get the ball rolling:
Bonnies 77
Cleveland State 70
