I'm no wgt when it comes to analysis, but I've tried to look at the game flow/plays for those first 10 minutes of the 2nd half. It's not easy since the Niagara stat site is still live (:01 remaining in the game) so it kept resetting itself.
Anyway, it seems like we suffered from the synergy of turnovers, ineffective defense and a cold spell in shooting. I say synergy because I'm sure they likely fed on one another (and I want to avoid using a certain overworked cliche of the past decade).
Coach did call a timeout 4+ minutes into the meltdown. Probably too late, but it still required maturity and leadership on the floor to get the guys settled down instead of pressing and get themselves back into the game. that didn't occur until it was too late. The reversal in momentum was so large and quick that they were overwhelmed.
