Just got back from enjoying a few days at Bona. The days there always seem to be good. How can you not enjoy playing the old course, a Burton Burger with Patsy, Steve, Chuck & the regulars playing Euchre at the bar, walking the Allegany trail, hearing the bells on campus, & being part of all the students packing up, hugging each other & heading off in different directions for the summer. While on campus Michael Lee promised me he would eat lots of cannolis this summer. I also ran into Kuba who told me he’ll be back next term to complete his degree. Father Pat of course will be leaving shortly & has 5 possible assignments in the mix with no final decision made. Last night was the Candlelight Ceremony in front of Plassman & today the Baccalaureate Mass in the RC. Tomorrow over 400 Bona undergrad students will join the ranks of the alumni & bring their talents out into the world. Their experiences at Bona will remain with them throughout their lives and will impact on how they deal with the people in their lives. In the years ahead they will treasure the very special time they had in the Enchanted Mountains. God Speed to our Bona 2005 Grads!
