The team made significant adjustments since Jay has been out. We have moved on from trying to use Alston as the primary PG. That became evident 5 games ago when Keem played no mins down the stretch of regulation against St Joe's & never saw the floor in OT. In that game we had 17 TOs with great difficulty in bounding the ball late. When Jay played against Joe's in January we had a season low 7 turn overs (4 from YN).
If Jay is able to play near his potential, it will be interesting to see how the team reacts to his return. Over the past 7 games we have been forced to do things differently. And in a season we have been hard to predict those 7 outcomes were what most expected with no surprises in Ws & Ls.
I'll be heading down to Barclays with a van filled with 7 supporters including a cheerleader who will be cheering at Bona next season. I expect a good Bona turn out to cheer on the Bonnies with or without a whole Jay.
