Another example of a "highly touted" high school player who did not live up to expectations and transfers out for more playing time. This kid played limited minutes on an average, at best, Memphis team in a conference no better than the A-10 and was no factor, averaging less than 4 pts and 2 rebounds over 2 years. He wasn't any good. Now he transfers to Rhode Island and according to the Jon Rothstein's of the world, he will make a major impact at Rhody. Really? Exactly where?

Just because he wasnt great at Memphis does not mean he will not be good in the A10. Many things factor into a player and how they perform.

The Providence Journal ran a story on Monday and they project him in the starting five. He enrolled there in January and began practicing with the team right away.

Our former Jalen Adams cannot get name respect. At Bona's it was confusion with Jaylen.....now looking at Verbal Commits all the tweets about Jalen Adams are about the guard Jalen Adams that is going to UConn. www.verbalcommits.com/players/jalen-adams--2

They were pretty much always about UConn's Jalen Adams. The guy is a four star recruit and top five at his position.

Since his junior year of HS, this player has now attending 5 schools in 7 years. Too many kids are following that approach.....Junior year at one high school, senior year another, might commit to a college, then a prep year, then 2 or more colleges. Put names on that list such as, Eli Carter, Eric Millinghaus.....from a kid centric view.....it is not good for them, no stability, maybe no degree. Then again, some kids make it a positive and succeed. Look at Eric Mosley. One high school his Junior year, another his senior year, then College at Austin Peay, then JC at Cincinnati State, then Bonaventure. Eric made it, he graduated....and found stability. Even Marcus Posley did the same, junior year one high school, transferred for his senior year but could not play (ineligible), then Ball State, Indian Hills CC, then on to Bonaventure. For some it works, for other it doesn't....

Since his junior year of HS, this player has now attending 5 schools in 7 years. Matt Mobley has been at 4 schools in 5 years (HS, prep, Central Connecticut and now Bonas). I do not have a problem with how many schools a prospect has had, but Rayvon Harris averaging 5.7 ppg for a team that lost 22 games is not impressive. Bonnies can still sign a quality big man. VCU just signed 6'9" Joanathan Nwankwo a 3 star recruit or Providence transfer 7'2" Pascal Chuwku a former 4 star recruit is visiting Iona today.

Torian Graham from Buffalo transfers to Arizona State.....follows Hurley. Was he the guy I kept hearing about in a Kevin Houston type way. Best player in practice isn't even suiting up for games this year?
