In a head-scratcher, TeamRankings has Bona at #26 on the S-Curve, which would be a 7-seed. That is above VCU (29) and SJU (34). Dayton is ranked 24, a 6-seed. www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-tournament/bracketology/Remember to set your clock one hour forward, which reduces the time spent in suspense.

Really need to see UConn and Little Rock win their games today. I think there are 14 teams on the bubble with 9 spots available to them, I don't want to see that number grow: SBU, Cincinnati, Temple, Pitt, Syracuse, Michigan, San Diego State, Oregon State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Wichita State, Valpo, Monmouth St. Mary's.

Will wonders never cease? Lunardi has seen the light at long last!
He has Dem Bonnies a #10 seed in the East Regional, opposite 7 the Freaking Irish, in Brooklyn. Winner then draws 2 'Nova. That would be an ideal draw imho.
Lunardi does put SDSU in a Dayton play in as an 11 seed, likewise for Monmouth. Has Wichita State included as a 9.

that would be like St Patty's day all over again in Brooklyn.

And Shelby Mast's final bracket has the Bonnies as an 11-seed vs. the Texas Longhorns in Des Moines. Then Indiana or MTSU. Piece of cake. www.bracketwag.com/bracket.html

Someone had a good call here by pointing out Dance Card would sink and the Palms/Lunardis would rise until they were essentially even. Math vs hype that gets it in the end

Monmouth should be in.... They grew a pair and played some tough teams and won....
Hopefully they do...
St. Marry's shouldn't get in..

"David Worlock @davidworlock 1h1 hour ago There are real challenges with selecting and seeding teams with Sunday afternoon games that impact both phases of the process."
Trying to read into this. At first I thought maybe Little Rock was getting consideration. But now I am thinking that the committee has decided on the field, but the last two teams are so close that they aren't sure who gets knocked out if Memphis steals a bid.
Worlock is the NCAA committee spokesman or something like that.

Joey Brackets last attempt has us playing Wisconsin in Spokane, fortunately, we have a huge alumni base there (crickets). We are also the 2nd to last team with a bye, which means if Memphis wins, it puts us perilously close to the play in games. High anxiety all day.

I think we are in and won't complain a bit wherever we go...but us against Wisonsin in Spokane is about as bad as it gets, imho.

I'd welcome a matchup with the Friars. Their top guys run hot and cold. Don't catch them on a hot night, one or both can fill it up. But they had stretches of inconsistent play in BE. Be fun to face an old rival. Had some classic battles with Providence back in the day.
