I attented (at least) 1 or 2 parties at Collins in the year that Copenhagen lived there. I don't remember if I actually even knew who lived there, but the parties were good, and the crowd was "in representative proportions to the overall university community" (i.e. plenty of females to talk to). Maybe club17 is confusing Collins Hall with Francis Hall?

Here's an old pic of the gang in front of Collins Hall. Copenhagen is on the far right on the bike, and Dem is the one in the middle with the red sweater

I am surprised a second poster chimed in to defend the boys from Collins.I am also sure that there is a lot that Cope and others who lived there and partied there would like to forget...it was a bit of a blur now wasn't it boys?As a local the word was to steer clear of Collins when the garbage cans were upside down and the flag was up on the mailbox. Now I have to say these boys were considered nice boys and kept things behind closed doors never flaunting their leanings.

i can only speak from my recollections of growing up in town...we were told by parents and it even was discussed at little bonas and allegany elementary, to not walk along that stretch of union street in allegany...i can remember an older brother of one of my friends referring to it as cornhole hall. it was a pariah.

Hey Cope...I think this thread went right over your head. There were a few guys bustin' your chops and you fell for it.I laughed harder with each post.I myself had a memorable night there...of course that was when the girls had the house and i was in high school...and well, there's always a first for everyone. .

Where was Collins Hall on campus? Why/when was it knocked down/destroyed.
I always get a little "homesick" around this time of year. Graduation for me was a pretty intense time....
