Man, what’s going on at Richmond? 1-8 on a mediocre OOC sched so far? Their fans must be up in arms about that fall from the top or near the top of the league. Did Kline take everyone with him?

GW must be pretty bad. Penn St ran them out of the BJC in short order.

Sorry VCU and A10 fans, but I will be cheering for the Longhorns in this one. Why? I thought you lived in TN.

Upset alert...LaSalle 38, Nova 37 at half. LaSalle has outplayed their high profile Big 5 rival. Shot the ball well.
The glaring disparity, and why the Cats are down one, is that the Explorers were tagged w 14 fouls to Nova's five, translates to Nova 13/17 ft to LaSalle 0/1. Would be a miracle if the underdogs pull this out. Explorers outboarded Nova and still went to the line once? Please.

Yes bva, I do live in TN and--although I am a Yankee born and raised-- my Texas roots go back a long way too and my son is a diehard Longhorn alumnus and fan. So there's family and--not to make it a theological discussion, but--down there they say "If God weren't a Longhorn, why is the sunset burnt orange?" (as I duck the brickbats).

Nova won 77-68. Late 10-2 run proved decisive, but Lord were those refs bought. Nova 27/35 to LaSalle 4/5. Explorers didn't make to bonus until there was under a minute left. Ridiculous. LaSalle plays everyone tough. Expect a wire job when Bona visits mid-Feb.

Wow Nova playing a close game against a traditional local rival. It’s almost as though what’s on paper doesn’t matter in games like that, and it doesn’t necessary reflect upon the better team as long as they win?
But that would be crazy huh... go Bonnies!

GW must be pretty bad. Penn St ran them out of the BJC in short order. Penn State is better than normal this year. They play at GMU on Sunday. Hopefully Mason can pull off the upset but PSU is currently #40 in Kenpom. The Mason game is part of a home and home where Mason played at PSU last year and grabbed every rebound in a 20 pt victory. My guess is PSU wants some revenge.

This weekend (Dec 16-17) is a big opportunity for several teams in the league to turn around the conference perception in the OOC. There are several key games which wins by A-10 teams would change the script as it’s been written so far this season.

UMass with a nice 10pt win over Georgia.
Georgia entered the game 7-1 with wins over St Mary's and Marquette.

Georgia State named him "Defensive Player of the Game" against Dayton, and they almost won.
