Bombala Osby (Boom} changed his mind, didn't want to sit out a year, so he will try to go Division 2 somewhere. Too bad, one observer saw him in a pick-up game at the RC and he looked awesome, at one point driving strong to the hoop and dunking over Lottin and Ahmad.
Andre Smith is next on our radar and his decision is imminent, we appear to be the leaders for his services.
More to follow.......

Excellent ! The best weather they have ever had. About 100 participants, and our group shot a 9 under 63, thanks mostly to former SBU golf team star, Matt Pochily, who hits a 4 iron about 240 ! My first outing of the season, and I'm still sore. Hacked it all over the place for the most part, but did hit a couple of boomers off the tee to help out a little. Soupy Kendzior was awesome off the tee with his new driver that has a head bigger than his - but his short game needs work. Our fourth was Brian "Nuts" Neary who has an unusual shot, to say the least. Every ball goes out about 30 yards left of target and curves back on line. Like they say, it's not how, it's how many ! Jim and Scott were in attendance, and it was good to talk to both of them, and see their faces light up at the out-pouring of support they got. Jim stated in his speech that they have put all their problems behind them and are moving on. Was real excited about the PG they just signed, that was also reruited by Kentucky and a couple of Big East schools. They are in the process of hiring another assistant to fill the vacancy. I've got plans already to spend the weekend at the Elmira Tournament (11/19 & 11/20). Are there any casinos nearby ?

dont be dissin "nuts" its spelled brion !! i know he is married but he was quite the cazanova during his days at walsh..he visited florida quite often during his high school and college days and would prance around the beach in daytona beach and attract quite a flock of women..he even spent a little time in chicago after graduating from canisius...the women of rush street were all over him...quite the legend !!

That's what I thought "Brion", but it didn't look right. Nuts is doing very well for himself, he has several business ventures in the works, including a kiosk in supermarkets where you can refill print cartridges for half the price of new cartridges, and another that prints out top-quality photos from different medias at a very low price (about 19 cents per print I think he said). His cell phone was just buzzing during the round, with calls from Spain and the Buffalo Bills and some of his salesmen.
And he still has that "Vise Grips handshake" !!
