He is strong bodied kid that does everything well. Drives, passes, shoots. Still just a junior, he somehow kept a low profile but played with City Rocks this summer. Hill put up another 40 spot last night. From Twitter: Hearing that the Bonnies offered Tahj Hill tonight.

This may sound like a typical well wishing relative but I’m curious as if anyone has heard if the staff is interested in my nephew. His name is Xavier Hill. He’s a 6’6” G/SF out of Johnson City High School in the Binghamton area. He’s a junior this year. Has started on varsity since his freshmen year. He is averaging 22 points and 9 rebounds through 9 games so far. Talking with my brother in law (who played at Indiana State) on Christmas Day at their house, I know he’s garnering D1 looks. I’d love to see him become a Bonnie and so would my sister.

His recruiting will be tied to his AAU competition. That is a better gage of his ability. Who does he play for?

His recruiting will be tied to his AAU competition. That is a better gage of his ability. Who does he play for? Roc City out of Albany. His father (my brother in law) is exploring the idea of starting a competitive level Binghamton area team. The recent transplants of kids from NYC and Philly to schools like my nephews (Johnson City HS), my high school (Union-Endicott), and Binghamton high school has resulted in a up tick in basketball talent in that area. His freshmen year, his team went to the state semis in Class A. A couple years ago, U-E went to the state semis in Class AA. They actually topped Mt Vernon in the first round of the state playoffs.

Hill dropped another 40 last night. Has to be a matter of time before his recruitment picks up. I will be at their game next week vs Gates Chili so I will watch him close

My cousin reffed the JV game before and stayed for a while after. He said that Hill was a slasher and looked good at times. Finishing with 40 again is encouraging.

k c & P Y, not 2020, but is Gates-Chili's MELVIN COUNCIL Jr, someone the staff should be looking at?

Council is at Greece Athena. It would appear someone is following him on Twitter now. And yes. He is an athletic guard. I saw him last year as a soph, coincidentally against Hill and Hilton. At that point he didn't do anything great but looked very good. I thought he may have been Athena's best player over seniors Nigel Scattlebury who is now at NCCC and Jones a kid that had moved in from the Memphis area.

My nephew, Xavier Hill of Johnson City HS just dropped a career high 35 points against Horseheads. Did this while playing through 3 bloody noses. Farm boys were straight up hacking him. He is a mere 75 points away from reaching 1,000 points for his career AS A JUNIOR.

Xavier Hill (my nephew) just topped 1,000 points in his game earlier tonight for Johnson City High School. Points 997,998, and 999 were a deep 3. Points 1,000, 1,001, and 1,002 were contested 3 with two defenders in his face. We are incredibly proud of him. Accomplishing this feat as a junior is amazing. He’s getting some regional D-1 looks. Here’s to hoping Bonas takes a good look at him.

Nicely done by the local news. Certainly seems like someone the staff should check in on, keep the board updated on any offers he starts to get. Would imagine this summer’s AAU circuitis really where things would start to pick up.

Curious if Bonas has taken a look at Bishop Kearney (Rochester) junior guard Kidtrell Blocker. High riser whose game has really improved over the year. Just recently offered by Canisus and U B. And should have many more in next year. Also plays for Albany City Rocks on AAU circuit.

I guess this would go here since he’d have to sit out next year. This would be a HUGE get. Sestina is a monster. He singlehanded crushed the bonnies early on. ... Not sure what that would do with the rotation with planutis and winston already manning the forward positions.
