Osawe is an amazing talent. If you have a chance to sign him you do, and you worry about fitting the pieces together later. Agreed. It's a good problem to have. Although, I'd rather have a backup for Winston.

Bonnies offer 6'5 2G Brandon Murray from Baltimore. He is a big powerful guard with high major skills and court IQ.

Wgt, as always thanks for getting us recruiting news. A lot of talent in Georgia as evidenced by improved performances of sp many of the state schools in and around Atlanta. One of them being coached by former Bonnie associate head coach. From a transfer standpoint, love to have that three years of eligibility. It s a small sample size, but Jaren s transition as a one year judo has gone exceptionally well. The “tea leaves of recruiting” are almost impossible to read. Why another wing, who knows. Maybe there s a plan, or at least coach Schmidt and staff keeps waiting on recruiting news interesting. I m afraid I m stuck on getting a big, so I get charged up every time I see a new post on recruiting, hoping that might be the case.

Right up the road in Buffalo 6ft10 John Orogun at The Park School - just put up a 23/22 with 7 blocks night
Orogun leads Park to South Carolina tournament win
Park boys basketball coach Rich Jacob called it John Orogun’s best performance since he joined the program. The senior big man led Park to a 66-46 victory over Springdale Prep (MD) in the opening round of the USA National Prep Basketball Championship tournament in North Myrtle Beach, SC. “Big John” Orogun finished with 23 points, 22 rebounds, and seven blocks. It was the advantage inside that allowed Park to move out to a 31-19 halftime lead. Controlling the offense was junior point guard Jalen Bradberry. The Niagara Falls transfer was a hero in last year’s Section VI playoffs, leading them to a Class AA title and state semifinal appearance. Bradberry scored 18 points in the win. “Jalen has shown improvement and become a well-rounded player as point guard,” Jacob said. “He’s improving game-by-game.” Keonjay Carter added 13 points with 10 rebounds. Park will play a strong and athletic team from North Carolina, Piedmont Classical’ at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Piedmont scored 94 points in their win over South Carolina’s Franklin Prep.

Hmm, same team with a 6’10” big who is demonstrating success at the prep national championship and a point guard named Jalen. There’s a lot to like there, based on history, and both with local connections. Have we shown any interest?

"Big John" left The Park School to play at St Benedict's (NJ) in 18-19 but got limited play. He returned this Sept to the Park School and his eligibility was questioned so the Park School left that league. He has upped his rebs to 12.2 to go with his 14 ppg.
The Park School is #10 NYS. John is from Legos, Nigeria. His latest offer was from Manhattan this past June. UMass, Buffalo and Robert Morris offered him in 2018,

Orogun has a big body and is skilled around the basket. This team could use that right away next year for 10-15 minutes per game
