WOW---1. 75% of his shots in college were beyond 19 feet ---averaged 44+ per game for 3 years but people who have run tape est. he would have averaged 58 per game with 3 point line---LSU averaged 6000+ attendance at his Freshman games--3677 points for career----present players would have to AVERAGE 15-3 pointers a game for 3 years to break the scoring record--- February 1977 scored 68 against Knicks with Clyde guarding him--RIP Pistol

As great as he was a shooter, my favorite thing to do with Pete was to watch him run the court and pass the ball. You would often need a slow-motion replay to figure out what he did, how he did it, and how the ball ended up in his teammate's hands. Truly amazing.

Agreed. It seemed like the ball was attached to a string on his hand. Plus he was gifted with incredible peripheral vision.
